    Voyages

    This was Unknown Space.

There was no way to say that it wasn’t.

Even a casual glance at the stars would show unfamiliar alignments, formations that they would have absolutely no understanding of.

    This wasn't our galaxy anymore.

    Not even their galaxy.

Indeed, were one to look at those stars, the vastness above them would suddenly make sense.

They were looking at their galaxy.

The Skyriver galaxy, as it was known to those who did not live on the galactic disc.

Indeed, the distances were such, they could see two smaller galaxies; satellite ones.

They were looking at the main galaxy, the Rishi Maze, and the Firefist satellite galaxies.

Which meant they had, somehow, been whisked away by hyperdrive failure, by the Force, here.

A galaxy only named by astronavigators.

By they, one meant the crew of a small freighter that, by way of a droid tether, had dragged an E-wing into hyperspace too. The freighter was damaged, and it appeared that its hyperdrive engines had only cut out when they burned through most of their fuel.

Keeping in mind hyperspace travel burned very very little fuel - in comparison to sublight coasting, or say starfighter dogfights - that meant they had traveled a very very long way.

The little droid in the E-wing socket reactivated, attempted to get its bearings, and tweeted at them to wake up. They were here.

    Welcome to Voyages

Your stranded in the Unknown Regions.

Not just the Unknown Regions, but a separate galaxy entirely.

    Companion Cresh.

    Welcome to the adventure.

Aboard your commandeered freighter, you have time to regroup, to come to terms with what has happened, to ascertain what to do.

    Or not do.

Time you have, drifting in space.

    For now.

    The Ship

We don't know the name of the freighter, you stole it from the sands of Jakku.

    But, it's pretty stock.

    Look!

    Name: Teedo
    Age
    : Teedo
    Species: Teedo
Personal Effects: Ionization Spear, electro-dagger, scout trooper style hold out blaster, multitool, mini-arc tool, palm translator droid, and a modified Aleena space suit (muddled murky green with neon purple highlights) over his Jakku wrappings.
Short Bio: A Teedo born under an odd star that dreamed of leaving Jakku someday. It was odd to think of being apart from the hum of the minds of his people, where the memories of one was the memories of all. Yet this Teedo did, personal desire and choice was still a thing for the individual even if he was filled with content memories as old as the sands.

After traveling with a caravan to pick up a new shipment of luggabeasts Teedo decided to take a chance and left his fellow Teedo. No one questioned him. After all to question a Teedo or do anything to one was to be known by all Teedo. Some might be okay, others might take revenge, big ones stupid and not able to tell difference between Teedo and Teedo, let alone Teedo! He chose instead of returning with his fellow Teedo to sneak aboard a big freighter and take a nap. Let R'iia decide his fate! If it left with him aboard his wish was blessed, but if still on Jakku when Teedo awoke, or if found and thrown out, he would stay and dream no more of the stars.

    Artwork by SamwiseTheAwesome on DeviantArt

    Age:
appears to be in his late teens/early adulthood
    Species: Neti/Human hybrid
    Homeworld: Hapes? Sort of?
    Affiliation: Unaligned
    Force Sensitivity: Y
Personal Effects: datapad, empty packet of sweets, pendant made of Renn's green amber that was originally given to him by his mother.
    Personal Starship (if any): None
Personal Weapon: Silver lightsaber from his mother, green lightsaber from his father.

Tamus remembers little of his early life, although he vaguely recalls playing in some bright, airy and plant filled spaces with his mother and father. He is well educated in sith force technique but as he has matured, his ability to shape-shift has become increasingly stifled, and while unspoken between them, he suspects the slower maturation of his mother's DNA has interfered with his quicker maturing and longer lived Neti genetics.

As much has he loves his parents, he had long felt the need to strike out on his own and explore the galaxy a bit. The final trigger was finding a confidential medical file in which the medical staff had described him as a 'half-breed freak'. He left the same night, and although he was still in contact with his mother, had no desire to give up his new-found freedom.

For the last few years, he had hitch-hiked around from planet to planet, soaking in local culture, finally settling for a longer period on Jakku, mainly because he was struggling to catch a lift off it again. The siege of Jakku complicated matters further but as it broke, he joined forces with a plucky twelve-year-old and together they gave some shadow droids the slip and stole a freighter. In the middle of battle, the hyperdrive triggered, flinging the pair (along with a stray Jedi) somewhere far, far away...

Name: Sia de Naochad ’s a Naoi (Six of Ninety-nine, Sia for short)
    Age: Who cares
    Species: Wraith
    Personal Effects:

    Frigate Gorta
    [IMG]

    Personal Fighter
    [IMG]

Long leather cloak, thin shirt, leather pants and boots, knives and a blaster on his hip but his mental agility and power he’d rather rely on than weapons.

    Short Bio:

Sia was one of the ninety-nine, the primary commander of the sixth First Mother’s hive. The battles between hives and those who had found their galaxy over the eons had painted the galaxy with detritus of battle. From time to time, the hives went into hibernation, when the battles ebbed. He had found himself woken, clawing his way out of the hibernation pod to find his First Mother had been the one to wake him.

She informed him that a disturbance had been felt, something new had come to their galaxy, something unusual and different. He was commanded to take a frigate, the minimal drones to operate it, and his fighter to scout these beings, find out first if their course could be tracked to find their galaxy for more food for the hive, or if these beings could be a good new supply of food.

He’d taken the ship, the Gorta, and set out, seeking the signal the First Mother had shown him.

    InterGalactic Travel 1-0-1

Article Written in 53 ABY by Professor Sintak Kya; eleven years after the Battle of Exegol, and less than four years before the events of Episode XII: Legacy of the Force, Star Wars: Voyages, and War of the Galaxies.

    InterGalactic travel.

It sounds a bit fanciful, doesn’t it?

Traditional wisdom has long been that a great hyperspace barrier interferes with such things. Such believes were promptly shattered when the Yuuzhan Vong arrived, and reopened the debate.

Of course, we’ve also accepted InterGalactic travel as a concept for millennia. The Rishi Maze galaxy, for example, has been reachable for seven thousand years; the Republic overextended itself and the economic fallout contributed to the Hundred Years Darkness. The so-called Firefist galaxy, the second closest, sent ships to multiple locations in our own during the Nagai-Tof War. We have long had the InterGalactic Banking Clan, which monetised systems all the way to the Rishi Maze.

    It’s not unheard of.

It’s just a matter of incredibly unlikely hyperlanes. Many of these are naturally occurring, for example the ones taken by the purgills as apart of their migration patterns, leading from our galaxy to another in our stellar group.

Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that the hyperspace barrier protected just that; the nine galaxies that form our local neighbourhood. But with the immense distances involved, you’d need either incredibly powerful hyperdrives or a long time to complete the travel.

For example, there are some who believe the Yuuzhan Vong originated from the furthest-most galaxy of the nine. That with their traditional hyperdrives (albeit based in biotechnology) that they took some four millennia to reach us, with smaller, faster scouts, arriving decades before. This is indeed confirmed by the concept of the ‘worldship convoy’, dozens of dreadnought and moonlet sized vessels that eventually reached our galaxy, and also the evidence we have of scouts being discovered during the Mandalorian Wars!

Meanwhile from the Denab system one could jump to the Peridea galaxy if one had the ancient hyperlane knowledge of the Nightsisters. It would take you a tremendous amount of time, unless you had those aforementioned super-hyperdrives. Imagine grafting dreadnought-scale engines on something much smaller, perhaps. Those distances could be crossed as quickly as one traverses a galactic highway!

The Rishi Maze, named for the world which leads to it, that’s the closest of the satellite galaxies, and it doesn’t take long to reach there at all. But there’s very little there to see! Kamino, Rothana, but after that, nothing much. It’s not replete in resources. It’s hardly as if the Sith withdrew there, built a navy and advanced from the area; if they’d rather choose the Unknown Regions then one cannot see there being much there. Strategically it’s easy enough to cut off; just take the Rishi system and its moon, and bottle it up. Nobody in or out. Not quickly, anyway. Take a whole mini galaxy and you’d expect to be able to do a lot, but not in the Rishi Maze.

If you’ve sufficiently advanced computers one could even pierce stellar halo and locate hyperlanes. Look at Firefist. Four hyperlanes run from that galaxy to ours; to Kinooine, Champala, Ord Bueri and Thesme. The gap between Firefist and Kinooine might be the smallest and easiest jump point, but the others were precision leaps, giving the Nagai an incredible range and an ability to setup forward bases. Vice-versa, one might invade the Firefist from the comfort of nearby Mon Calamari or Mandalore to the Ord Bueri or Thesme jump points respectively. Champala is in the Inner Rim on the Hydian Way! A single jump from Firefist and there you are. Imagine the sheer amount of resources and opportunities you’d command if you ruled the entirety of Firefist!

One could not say much about the furthest most galaxies around us. But perhaps if one was to head to the Janguine or Crispin systems, or the Gardaji Rift or eponymous Vector Prime in the Helska system - all in proximity to the Corporate Sector of course - one might eventually find oneself in the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy. Apparently a depopulated area of space, as a result of wars between them and two droid species.

And why isn’t the Yuuzhan Vong Galaxy outside our stellar group? Why what a good question. The Janguine, in Old Republic memory, spoke Yuuzhan Vong. Impossible. The droid races from their galaxy ended up here; both of them! The Silentium and Abominor. And then, not only did Zonama Sekot cast off into the void and arrive here, tens of millennia later its child race did? Incredibly unlikely that all of these connections cannot point to a historic tie between the two galaxies, and that puts the Yuuzhan Vong especially distant - it could be argued that the Yuuzhan Vong took fifteen thousand years to reach here!

And what of the other satellite galaxies?

The ones between Firefist and the distant most Yuuzhan Vong galaxy? Why, save for Peridea, nobody really knows. Emperor Palpatine would have been our best - trying to map the Unknown Regions, Deep Core and even Otherspace, if anyone had attempted it in living memory, it would have been him. But with the devastation of Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian, Fallanassi and Nightsister culture and history by the ongoing Second Galactic Civil War, who can say what has been lost and has yet to be found…

It was not the first time a hyperspace jump went awry.

Some five millennia ago, a Sith Dreadnought was trapped in hyperspace for that entire period, appearing shortly after the death of Darth Caedus into a galaxy completely unknown to them. Luckily, a Jedi and a group of insane clones stopped it.

In another instance, a hyperdrive accident was said to have hurled a crew of Rebels back into the past, to the Mindor system, named Nilbremah at the time, and they were caught in the middle of an attack on the planet by Ulic-Qel Droma, in pursuit of the Sith artefacts of Ku'ar Danar.

We also once had a hyperdrive jump that took the Katana Fleet, two hundred heavy cruisers from the Old Republic era, into the middle of nowhere, commanded by an insane crew infected by a hive virus. Thrawn discovered the location of those ships and turned the tide of a galactic war with them.

Admiral Daala often made use of a random hyperspace jump to escape her foes. Twice she fled to lightspeed with no coordinates, and ended up surviving. Just. It's a good way to fake one's death, and she stayed off the radar of the New Republic for twenty plus years once with that stratagem.

Another hyperspace accident saw a Rebel crew arrive in Otherspace, the source of what some termed the Anti-Force, or, rather, the secret redoubt of the servants of the Old Ones. The Charon launched a brief and unsuccessful invasion of Imperial Space, mutating a Grand Moff into their leader. As you do.

But none of these examples apply here.

Here, and now, the exertion of the Force of three users of it warped the hyperdrive.

An injection of energy from a detonation was contained and transformed the hyperdrive into a Super-Hyperdrive.

They borrowed into hyperspace, a single freighter and a tethered E-wing, and a disabled Shadow Droid.

    And.

    Arrived.

    Here.

    Wherever here is.

R5-P4 screamed at everyone to wake.

On the hull of the freighter were two unconscious Force users, having managed to tether themselves to the bulkhead and hang on for dear life. Tamus and Adrias Stark.

Their consciousness had slipped when the freighter tumbled from hyperspace.

The jerk of arrival at such velocities would have knocked out everyone aboard too.

Talia was unconscious in the cockpit, yes.

But R5's sensors found something else.

    Stow-aways!

    A... Teedo?

He screamed at them from the E-wing, trying to wake them up.

    Was there anyone else aboard?!

They were not the only ship to awaken in deep space, confused.

    Not at all.

    Indeed, there was another one.

Six of Ninety-nine would come to in the same star system, but would have minimum recall of how, or where, it was.

Indeed, one could say it had no memory whatsoever.

The nearby crew were dead, somehow, all without physical wound.

As if something had decided they were dead.

The frigate listed in space, without power, for the moment.

One had to wonder about what had happened here.

    But then again, one wouldn't.

Many had fled the Galaxy of War for another hope.

Leaving behind the First Order and Resistance and their conflict would take one firstly to the Rishi Maze galaxy, or Companion Alpha, in cartographical terms. Within that, the Sun Guard and other Imperials fought.

If you went to the next furthest galaxy, Companion Besh, or, FireFist, one would see the reignited Nagai-Tof War, with worlds burning.

Moving on again would take one to Companion Cresh.

    Perhaps Peridea.

Perhaps other, more distant galaxies, as far as Companion Grek, the so-called Yuuzhan Vong Galaxy.

Others had fled to these stars, and they hadn't done so with accidental Super-Hyperdrives, and had simply taken a long time to reach there.

Fifteen years ago, Amariah and Pre had fled the main galaxy to escape a trap at Nouane; the so-called Unification Summit that Kylo Ren had proposed.

They had needed to stock up for the fifteen year trip. Fuel, food, energy. Leap-frogging from the Rishi Maze, to the Firefist, and then the next closest galaxy.

    Time and time again.

Feyna and her child and their spouse had taken a similar trip with their extended family, too.

But as things would have it, Amariah and Pre arrived.

Waking up from sleep Teedo did not feel great. One of those bad sleeps were you feel worse than before you slept situations. Perhaps a nap to decide his future life had been the wrong way to go about things? Whatever. What was done, was done. Teedo gonna Teedo after all. Now he would just have to see about a way to get out of here and see what his options were.

With a grunt of "Teedo." he sat up and made to stretch the tension out of his neck. These hard plates had not been the best place to sleep. Still, once more it was done. Trying to tap into the communal memory Teedo was sure to see where they had gone off to. . .wait. Teedo didn't feel so Teedo. Teedo. Teedo?

Teedo groaned which his palm translator droid squawked out "Medic!" as Teedo flopped to the ground holding his head.

Tamus woke to the most curious sensation- frost.
A distinctly cold feeling. His skin was covered in this odd prickly feeling, a feeling he had never experienced before but it became painful quicker than he was expecting. He looked around, and immediately wished that he hadn't.
The vastness of space pressed against him and threatened to pull him to apart, to rip and tear him limb from limb.

An Astromech's screech awoke him from the horror- and very real danger of suffocation- and he became competent enough to grab the body of the jedi and fight his way to the hatch of the freighter.
    "Talia! Open the hatch!"

His voice was torn away from him, stolen before the words had left his lips as the ice grew and began to freeze the last of the oxygen in his bark.

Bio: born on Corellia, somehow his parents managed to avoid his Force sensitivity being detected by the Empire. He grew up in the streets of Corellia, once showed some latent abilities when facing a bully. That forced his parents to relocate before the Empire caught up with them and took him away. They set up a repair shop in an Outer Rim world just before the Battle of Endor.

That gave them hope that their ordeals would be over. But that was hardly the case. Imperial Remnant forces, pirates, gangsters all fought over the scraps from the body of the dying Empire.

A then young Jedi, the legendary Luke Skywalker needed repairs to his X-wing. So the honor to service the craft fell to Adrias’ parents. If Skywalker realised the irony of the situation that he found a Force sensitive boy in the middle of nowhere, he never showed it.

Stark’s parents were reluctant to let him go, but the prospect of a better life swayed them. Adrias learned whatever he could about the Jedi, especially the ones from his homeplanet, hence his tunic and robes were green.

And one day, after Adrias became a knight, Master Skywalker called upon him and several others to be sent on an important mission that was going to change his life forever…

Upon completion of his mission he arrived at the specified location only to find other Jedi and TIEs. The battle that ensued was brief and the Jedi were able to take care of the Imperials. He and the rest landed on the planet where they met Jaina Solo, the niece of Master Skywalker, who gave them the most disturbing revelations about the state of the Galaxy during their absence.

They had to leave as a First Order vessel was approaching, so they joined Jaina to the Imperial world of Bastion, where they had their vessels repaired and refueled. Adrias did not want to stay with the Empire and he opted to find the remaining Jedi.

That turned into disaster as his companion Ohali got killed by a Dark Side practitioner. Grief stricken, he jumped into hyperspace towards Jakku following an ominous voice. There he was met by the biggest armada he had seen. Lucky for him he remained undetected when New Republic forces attacked.

The battle for Jakku was pretty short for him. He engaged several fighter droids and approached a freighter in distress to help them out. The craft in question had a pesky automaton stuck to its hull and was preparing to blast the cockpit point blank. Adrias contacted the crew and had a brilliant idea to jump on the hull of the moving freighter while in mid flight and cut off the legs of the droid.

Once the crazy part was done they somehow jumped into hyperspace into the great unknown!

As soon as the freighter jumped into hyperspace Adrias lost consciousness. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise as it was said that staring too much into the hyperspace tunnel you can go insane and he would have had a front row seat to it. Somehow his body had survived the ordeal, but the sudden reversion to realspace brought another set of problems, hypothermia and asphyxiation.

Being unconscious seemed even more like a blessing. At least he would go out asleep...

    No...

His task was not done, they would have to return, he would have to return, he had to assist his fellow Jedi! He would have to live, but his body refused to wake up! It was moving! Did his tether break? Was he going to drift off in the void of space!? No, he could feel the peculiar sensation of the Neti's touch, hopefully he would bring him in before they perish...

IC: Sia de Naochad ’s a Naoi
    Location: Unknown…

The skin peeled away from the hibernation pod, the pod itself having gone into emergency opening when the Gorta emerged from hyper. The tall, pale figure staggered out of the pod. A quietly muttered curse came from the being as they shook their head, ”Cuir an t-acras air seo!”* came in his kind’s tongue.

Straightening, the being held one long fingered hand to his head, a lack of clarity filled his senses. He was trying to remember anything but the fuzziness was slow in fading. The first thing that popped into his head was his name, Sia. He slowly remembered it was as much title as name but to what…that was still in the fog of his mind.

As he staggered along the corridor, his body seeming to guide him towards something, he could feel something was off, aggravating him further. Passing another section of hibernation pods he could see slumped forms within them, but still couldn’t focus enough to recall how to check the readouts to know whether the beings within lived or not. Another low curse came as his body took him further along, ”Cuir an t-acras orra uile!”*

His steps took him to what had to be the bridge of the craft he found himself on, a stray thought pelting through his mind, The [i[Gorta…[/i] as he reached a central seat, slumping into it. As his mind continued to clear, as he began to suspect he had a case of hibernation sickness, the reasoning for that suspicion came because of the way the ship listed, seemed dead in space otherwise.

The rest of the crew, they did not respond.

    They were certainly dead.

The ship too, it listed, damaged as if it had been caught by a great gravitic anomaly.

The sensors painted a picture of ships, but unfamiliar ones.

    Distant, distant ships.

With the drift they had from their hyperspace fallout, they'd reach them in a matter of hours.

Sia would have to repair as much as they could, by then, or they may be unprepared.

For the moment, the others didn't appear to be responding.

A terrible headache assailed Sia, as if they'd hit their head in a tumble.

Sia groaned at the sudden stabbing pain. Through bleary eyes he could see the ships approaching. A growl escaped his throat at the sight, knowing the ship needed to be at least powered on, if not able to defend against whatever it was. Two long fingered hands clasped his skull at the thought, just getting that much out had caused the pain to double.

Staggering from the chair, closing his eyes several times as he scanned, he looked over the panels, trying to make sense of the jumble of them. Staggering over to one, he placed both hands on a pair of soft, almost gel like pads on the panel. Another sharp intake of breath escaped his mouth as needles pierced his palms and fingers, through the gel.

Wanting to reach up again and clasp his skull, his knees buckled at the pain, trying to push the thought into the system of restoring minimal power, of getting the engines restarted so the ship could regain balance and the shields would function.

His needle sharp teeth bared in a grimace as his head thunked against the console, the pain overwhelming as he tried to keep the thought going, to wake the ship from its stupor.

The ship rebelled; it was hurt, and it loudly objected to the rough handling.

Apparently they'd hit some kind of mass, one that wasn't supposed to be here.

This galaxy was not charted in the strictest sense, and the rim was oft filled with these castoff gravitic anomalies; dark matter that was not distinguishable from backround radiation, and a side-effect of some past calamity, their philosophers opined. But even then, they were not supposed to be here, they were travelling the known roads...

    No, they weren't.

The stars were out of alignment.

They'd jumped incorrectly, but there was no indication of misalignment of the engines.

    No, the instructions were incorrect.

    From their deceased pilot.

The ship definitely didn't like that.

Sia’s growl was as much of hunger now as it was filled with the pain of his disjointed thoughts and massive headache. His long fingers dug deeper into the gel of the control panel interface, trying to push the thought of clearing whatever it was that the pilot had last instructed the ship to do. Some memories were surfacing and he knew now that most species would attempt to kill him on sight if they boarded his ship.

His eyes flicked to the display as he groaned, mind almost fighting himself as he tried to clear the ship, to get it operating. He could see the ships approaching, could almost read the starfield and it made no sense. None of the stars he could see made sense, not their location or their intensity. The Mother would be…beyond incensed if he failed to return and return in glory. Which made him fight the pain even harder to ensure that he faced whoever was coming as he should.

    Two ships.

    The sensors confirmed as much.

But their jump-drive, it was damaged.

So too, was one of the other ships.

    A gravitic anomaly, perhaps?

    It didn't know.

But it knew one ship was not harmed.

    Components.

    Could they get components?

Or would simple meat be all these intruders proffered?

The broken ship was easy prey.

The one that was not, it would have components.

    Ship asked for guidance.

The pain was slowly fading even though the fog that filled his mind was still present. He hoped the seeming block on what had occurred and what he knew would fade but he also knew he’d need to do something soon. Listening to the Ship he looked at the two craft that were still approaching. Path.

Returning his attention to the manipulations to revive Ship, he felt the hunger rising. His eyes flicked to the two ships again. His thoughts slipped into Ship’s ‘mind’, a thought driving into it, that Ship needed to be healed so that they could follow what he needed to do. He nodded to the undamaged ship that was approaching, ”See if any beings are aboard, that can be taken or of use.”

    Companion Cresh.

It had been a long journey.

Some fifteen years of hyperspace jumps, changes, turns, and twists.

They'd survived the First Order assault on the galaxy.

Avoided pirates in the Rishi Maze.

Hid during the renewed Nagai-Tof War.

    And, eventually, made it here.

Pre Shysa Vizsla and Amariah Mothma were arriving in yet another galaxy.

One might consider it a bit extreme to abandon galaxies to avoid conflict, but the main galaxy had been embroiled in almost a century of endless conflict.

Jedi, Sith, Republic, Separatist, Empire, Rebel, Yuuzhan Vong, New Republic, Confederation, Galactic Alliance, First Order, Resistance, Final Order.

The general counts for the wars of the era, combined, were two trillion dead.

Over ten thousand Jedi dead, mostly during Order 66, and another thousand during the recent wars.

Ten thousand Sith, too, mostly from the Lost Tribe of Kesh, some seven thousand of which died in one battle.

Out of the one million member worlds of the Old Republic, and fifty million colonies, almost every one had been visited by war.

The twenty five millennia old galactic government was corrupted by the Sith, distorted into an Empire, and, finally, fell, to the Rebellion.

Civilisation is at its lowest ebb.

It wasn't an overreaction to leave.

    And here they were.

Before them was a disabled craft, and some kind of other alien ship turning towards them -

But they were low on fuel, and no maps, no ideas, no way -

The disabled craft, that was a design from their galaxy, and it had an E-wing tethered to it -

What would Pre and Amariah do?

For his part, Pre swore, floridly, in Mando'ade.

BD-1 leapt through the hatch and pulled the all but frozen-to-dead Adrias Stark aboard their disabled freighter.

Teedo was suddenly noticed by the astromech droid that joined the crew. R5-P4 blatted, produced a buzz-saw and electro-shock prod to threaten the stowaway.

Passive sensors warned Tamus and Talia of the two ships nearby.

    Companion Cresh

Ship was coming back up to at least minimal power, enough to maneuver and to stabilize it somewhat. With that, knowing that it would use the power to fill the energy needed to bring Ship up to full power, Sia slid his hands out of the control gel. His long fingered hands rubbed his temples, trying to massage out the headache, to finish clearing his mind as he stepped over to behind the command chair. Looking out of the viewscreen his head tilted to the side. Somehow…it was coming to him…he could feel some activity on the vessel Ship was turning towards.

His eyes narrowed and a rumble, sounding hungry, came from his throat. One more look and a memory recently recalled, surfaced. He turned away from the viewscreen and followed where the memory led, to a small suite of rooms near the bridge. Ones that, when he entered, triggered another memory that they were his. He opened various chests and wardrobes, changing what he was wearing, including a weapons belt with a holstered blaster and a long, thin sword before he shut them, heading back out and toward where he was sure was a boarding hatch, for when the two ships were close enough.

As R5-P4 extended a buzz saw and electroshock, prod Teedo turned his head. Garbling out a reply which the translator droid made a concerted attempt at hyperventilating, “Now now. Let’s not be hasty! We don’t even know if anyone around here would be willing to buy that droids charred parts! Rest Master, it’s programming shouldn’t produce harm to an injured party needing medical attention!” If ever a palm translator droid could glare this was one of those times as it stared in a how dare thou! Manner at the astromech with its singular photoreceptor.

Talia flicked on the comms. as the other ships approached and hoped they were friendly. She looked at BD.

"Hey keep him alive. I don't know what's on those ships but I'm going to find out." Talia took a deep breath and tried to reach out with the force. Hello? I don't know if you're friendlies or not but we have injured. Can you please help us?

Adrias' consciousness was slow to return. He had been out for too long, but thankfully no permanent damage. A few more seconds in the freezing vacuum of space and things would have taken a fatal turn for the Jedi. It took several moments until his skin would register the warmth and his respiratory system the oxygen. The frost covering his face started to melt and his face grimaced slowly, then suddenly his blood-shot eyes were wide open and he gave a loud gasp, he was alive...

Tamus heard the proximity sensors but gave the human a once over to make sure he was still breathing.

"Damn, you're even luckier than I am. I thought for sure you were a goner."

He stood up and glanced at Teedo.

"Souvenir from Jakku huh? Guess its better than a snowglobe."

    He called across to Talia.

"What sort of ship is it?"

"One of them is a Teroch-Class Mandalorian Cruiser." Talia answered confidently. "I'm not sure about the other one though the Mandalorian one is a cruiser. I would expect them to have a few soldiers on board and someone important. It's old but in good shape. You have to have a good amount of money to keep that in working order."

R5 blatted. Sandglobe, you mean. But the droid rolled back from the Teedo. The droid heard from the ship that the two other ships were converging; the one made of some alien material and the Teroch-class. The former seemed to be boarding the other…

Suddenly R5 wheeled away, rushing towards Adrias to wake him with updates. Companion Cresh. Stowaways. E-wing tethered. Two other ships.

Paz had the news - the unknown ship had tethered on their hull. “We need to open comms to that Gthroc freighter. Whatever that alien ship is, it’s about to override the air lock.” He was pulling on his beskar, getting ready. Amariah had her own pair, too.

The hollow sound filled the air of the lock as Ship clamped onto the alien craft. Touching the gel pad by the outer lock door he could feel, though his fingers and palm of his hand, that Ship was already in the alien craft’s systems, wrinkling out how to get the hatch open and give him access. The headache was fading even more as he felt the other ship struggling, and failing, to keep him out. He still couldn’t remember much but he was sure whatever beings were aboard that ship would be surprised to see him, would probably not recognize what he was.

Pulling his hand from the gel, he settled into a waiting stance, clearing his mind, rebuilding his mental defenses just in case. His eyes had closed but, when he heard the grinding movement of the other ship’s hatch opening, they fluttered open once again. His outer hatch opened with a whisper and he sniffed the air, the diagonal vents by his nose flaring, as he breathed in the aromatic flavor of the alien craft. Blanking his presence externally, feeling the power of doing so, he slipped into the other craft, keeping to shadows and whatever spots he thought security cameras would view, as he sought out whatever creatures it held.

Teedo muttered some words about being compared to a snow-globe, or sand globe which merely had the palm translation unit muttering an “Oh my…I’m not certain his anatomy works that way sir.” In response.

Tamus joined Talia at the front of the ship, looking out the viewports.

He was going to respond to Teedo but his eyes were suddenly more concerned with what he was seeing in front of him. He frowned and carefully scanned the groups of stars in front and around them.

"I can't see the inner cluster at all."

He was referring to the denser area of stars that made up the inner rim and core worlds that could usually be seen in the night’s sky. Maybe it was below their feet or behind one of the other ships.

He glanced back toward the navi-computer, and a single blinking red light that seemed feebly struggling for life.

"Say, um, human, if you're feeling a bit better, you wouldn't be able to check that out would you?"

Meanwhile he focused his senses on trying to see if he could detect any living creatures on the other ships.

Adrias barely registered being talked at. He wanted something warm, he was freezing. The condensation from Jakku's atmosphere had covered his body and then space froze it on him. "Where..." he croaked and managed to stand up gingerly "Where are we?" ignoring the request for a second, then noticing the red light flashing "Oh..." he managed to say "Right, right... I am on it." hopefully he would get some answers soon enough.

Talia took a deep breath and glanced at Tumus. "I'm going to try and get a read on them with the force. Just...don't shoot anyone unless we know they're a threat please." She asked them before shutting her eyes and reaching out with the force. It started slow and cold; gradually warming up as she felt something on the other ship.

    Was it another force sensitive?

Um hello? Are you going to hurt us?

Tamus nodded to Talia and guiltily glanced over at the human shivering and struggling to his feet.

"I'll leave it with you." He muttered to Talia and made his way back to the rest of their 'crew'.

"Hey, um, Teedo was it? Could you help me find a blanket or something like that? I'm going to look through the medical supplies, see if I can find some sort of heat pack."

He glanced back over towards Adrias again as he searched with a half-wary look, concerned he was going to fall over.

"Sorry, I tend to forget that humans are more susceptible to changes in temperature. My Dad is better at this than I am..."

Teedo lifted his head and glared at the exotic wood. Here Teedo was in need of a medic and wood was prioritizing human over Teedo?! The protocol droid was a little slow to translate the string of words spoken as Teedo grabbed his spear and attempted to get up. “Ah, Teedo wants to reiterate that he has requested aid prior to the human, and that, uh, the human appears to be recovering naturally. Possibly warm nutrition would be better than free fabric from the crew quarters?” This translation was also notably longer than what Teedo had stated, but Teedo did not rebuff the unit. In part because as Teedo leaned on Teedo’s spear, the pain, the fog, began to dull. To clear?

Tamus blushed slightly, or at least, the wood on his face seemed to get darker as he held up his hands apologetically.

"Sorry, sorry. I have no experience with your species."

He stepped back, hit the back of his head on an overhead locker and it sprang open, revealing several neatly stacked piles of bedding.

    "Ahh! Blankets for everyone!"

Sia felt a wave of energy pass him, seeking. His lips quivered in dark amusement that someone seemed to be trying to determine if anyone was aboard Ship. He suspected that they’d feel the living heart of Ship but none of his dead warriors. It amused him, as well, as he was now aboard their ship.

Maneuvering as cautiously as possible, to avoid other detection, he could hear voices coming from several directions, making his palms itch, at the feeling of essence as well from those sources. Pausing, he felt something brush his mental defenses. His lips pressed firmly together at that, trying not to make a noise of humor, feeling the thought trickle through, his mental defenses still not fully aware with the slowly dissipating fog in his mind.

Closing his eyes to prepare, he relaxed his tense posture, his mind to seem less threatening. ’No…no I am not going to hurt you.’ he returned the thought in the direction the first had come. In the same moment he seemed to blur, racing from one side of their ship, by that hatch, to the opposite side, to avoid having his location pinpointed.

R5 rolled its photoreceptors at the blanket party, and trundled to the cockpit controls. They didn't have engines, but they had plenty of other bits. Three ships became two on the sensors, and R5 decided he wanted answers.

A burst of repulsorlifts, and they were en route to the new freighter and its strange visitor made of not-metal. R5 tried to identify, and simply blatted, loudly, in droidspeak.

    NOT YUUZHAN VONG.

They promptly clanged with the hull of Amariah and Paz's ship.

Talia would be connecting with something, and Adrias sensed it too.

Now they were proximate, they could all use sensors, real or Force, to know the numbers.

Paz, the Mandalorian with Amariah, had his blasters out.

"Stay by me. That alien ship; the alien's aboard."

For it's part, Ship confirmed that the vessel Sia was aboard had a compatible hyperdrive.

Of course, Amariah and Paz needed the fuel from Talia and Adrias and Teedo and Tamus -

Between the three of them, they might have a functioning ship.

We would have to see how First Contact went.

Amariah shook her head. She looked at Pre and followed him; her own blaster at the ready. "I don't like this at all. Can you use the force and try to see what's on that ship?"

Adrias' senses were starting to return as he used the Force to recuperate faster. He would not mind a blanket though. The Knight looked at Teedo and arched an eyebrow "Was this guy here before? If not, how did he come?" he tilted his head, resisting the urge to reach for his saber.

Teedo hissed in frustration. It wasn’t like they owned the ship to make any demands! “How rude!” The prissy protocol droid voice piped up. “Master Teedo merely rested inside the ship escaping the high day sun.”

Sia could sense more and more of the beings reaching out on mental wavelengths, could feel their attentions brushing his mental shields. It brought a dark smile to his face as he approached, his well developed senses catching more and more of their scents. Finally, he was standing against the wall by the hatch which led to the nearest of the beings, an odd variety of beings, none of which seemed the same species. It was time to see how these odd beings responded to one of his kind.

The three ships kissed; they had met.

There was a murky murderous presence aboard Amariah and Pre's ship... it was evident to everyone on both ships.

Sia's senses would be aflame; the pheromones of warriors were touching upon them...

Teedo and R5 would detect the alienness -

The Force edged with tension -

Teedo leaned heavily upon his staff, using the weapon as a support as he slowly felt himself adjusting and feeling out his own mind and Teedo. Breathing heavily as Teedo centered Teedo waited to see, hear, and learn what new was coming for them.

The atmosphere changed, the fact that he could sense warriors meant that his presence aboard had been at least guessed at or remotely sensed by those there. Moving extremely slowly, he took a small reflector from his robe, moving it to the doorframe, tilted so that he could see past the door without otherwise revealing himself. He needed to know if those in that chamber were looking in his direction before he entered the space.

Adrias stared at Teedo for a second more, but the diminutive creature did not seem that dangerous, besides if his returning senses were correct they were in bigger trouble than having a stowaway. He must get ready to spring into action if need be. This was shaping up to be the longest day...
