Star Wars Wal-Mart Commercial

Have you seen or heard about the new Star Wars DVD Wal-Mart commercials? I was just surfing through the Jedi Forums and in the background on the TV I hear this woman talking about how great the new DVD's are.

I walk in and on the screen is Chewbacca brushing his hair in the bathroom mirror, and then it show the lady picking his hair out of her brush. It then shows the lady and her husband sitting on the couch talking about how wonderful the new DVD set is, and Vader is sitting between them breathing. It talks about all of the improvements, shows her picking a box set up off the shelf at Wal-Mart while two guys go by in the background dueling with sabers. Shows them sitting on the couch again and the husband is trying to "force pull" the remote to his hand, waving his fingers around, etc. Finally Vader gets ticked reaches down picks up the remote and slams it in the guys hand. It was very odd, but funny as heck.

Odd turns. A thread starts with an innocent report of a 'Star Wars' commercial and reincarnates into political bickering and flames. Such swift dramatic changes are part of life, one would suppose.


I must be a communist though since I never seen this commercial.

 

Maybe it's just a Texas thing then. Another reason to love this state! LOL

 

Saw it today on TBS!!! It was great! I am in Georgia so its not a Texas thing. I am sure its all over the place. Maybe I need to make a MPG of it, i have it stayed on TiVo

 

I wonder if its on here in Wyoming.

I saw it up in Canada as well. It is a classic.
