Starship Troopers Fed Net March/Klendathu Drop Arrangement

Hey all. I'm about 4/5 through doing an arrangement of Poledouris' Klendathu Drop - did I mention by ear? - for concert band. Firstly and most importantly, would it be legal to have my college concert band perform it? And secondly, anybody have any tips for me so far? I have a work in progress that I'll keep updated as I progress. Keep in mind that I'm not done yet; the percussion is nowhere near completed - still have to finish the snare part, but do all of the timp, gong, bass drum, cymbals, and wood block. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

The short answer is no, it is not legal to do this, as the piece is under copyright, new arrangement or not
