Yes, Jet Set Radio futur was already very good on the Sega Dreamcast.

For some reason the thought of Star Wars, cel shading, and prequel era doesn't go down quite so well.

Outrage over Cel Shaded Zelda not so long ago. Some people are still moaning that's it's not Zelda.

Prequel era suffers from poor games all round. Clone Wars, Bounty Hunter, Starfighter games, Racer games, TPM, Jedi Power Battles. Just compare them to the likes of Rogue Squadron, X-Wing series, Jedi Knight series and even the SNES games. Comparison shows a large gap in quality.

Lets just hope that this isn't another failed venture and that we get a decent prequel game.

 

Robotech: Battlecry, Dark Cloud 2 (I think), and Auto Modellista are all PS2 cell-shaded games.

My guess that this game will be Cel Shadded as you pointed out...

 

the cube can shade games better than any system.i would rather see the clone wars cartoon game come to the game cube than the ps2 .i know a lot of people diss cel shading .but the wind waker has to be one of the most impresive graphical games of all time .

Yeah we know about that. But it's rumoured that a cel shaded style game is being made as well.

 

If this game is a cartoon like game, I will be sick. A star wars cartoon game? No, no this will not do.

 

The problem with people these days?

Can't accept change and new ideas. We don't even know if a game exists yet never mind having seen a screenshot or video, yet we are close to complaining about the graphics already.

 

I wouldn't mind it.

As long as it comes out for computer.

It annoys me when SW titles aren't released for the computer. Especially since I have no television, so buying a system wouldn't help much.

 

Well, it looks like it won't be for the PS2, but only online. My guess is that it'll be like the fighting games currenly available on CN.com, where it is a simple game to play, aka not much skill necessary. Oh well.

I wiped the grin off of Kit Fisto's face, but now I feel a bit guilty about it. Oh well. That Anakin fight level is so easy. All you have to do is keep pressing the attack button and eventually you'll win.
