My tabbards keep slipping whats a good method to hold them in place??

Heres my alpha test of the costume...
Ultimately wide cuff gloves and a better belt and boots ..clickable images below.

put some double-sided tape on your shoulders and press the tabards down. Works like a charm :)

In one of the threads, some said they used Snaps/Press Studs while some said they used Velcro. Some also use safety pins etc to pin the tabbard to the shoulder of their shirt and to the Obi.

    Rhen,

I use safty pins on the udneside of my tabbords. Mine are double thickness (Farbic folded over and sewed). I put the pin through my tunic and the first layer(underside) of the tabbord at a few palces. Shoulder near my tunic collar where the edge of the tabbord lays, , another pin a the end on my shoulder, Sometimes i've placed two others a a few inches away from the first set. (Mirror image) They didn't move at all when i dueled Anakin Sky walker.:)
I foulnd velcro won't work, it gets nsaty after a while, Press studs can eventually pu tholein the fabric or bee seen through it. Double sided tape is good for one use. Forget it if you'er going to be moving a lot or sweating.
Safty pins or sewing the tabboards down with a couple of stiches may be the best option.
I don't know this'll help. Try all options and let us knwo which worked best for you.:)

    Mynn
