"Take a pill and cook the vegetables!" A Mark Lowry Fan/Discussion Thread!

If you're a Mark Lowry fan, I'm sure you know what the title means. If not, then go get the video "Mark Lowry: Remotely Controlled"! Mark Lowry is a hilarious Christian comedian, who talks about everything from open heart surgery to Bill Gaither's nose. He also does parodies of songs by artists such as Michael W. Smith (Face in this World), Steven Curtis Chapman (The Date Adventure), and Amy Grant (Every Teacher). He is simply a riot! This thread is for discussion about his work, so here it goes!

The videos that I have seen are the first one (its name escapes me at the moment), "Mouth in Motion," and "Remotely Controlled." Are "Live on Broadway" and "Ten Feet Tall" any good? What are your favorite stuff of his (songs, routines, anything)? I'll post mine later.

Hey, another fan! Yes, a terrific website! Funnies has a lot of jokes, lists, etc. that I print out and bring to my relatives' houses on holidays and bring much joy!

 

Come on, people, up! Some of my favorites of his are, of course, "Take a pill and cook the vegetables!" ("Doritos are supposed to crunch!" ), the one where he talks about his inheritance of a large chin ("He had the kind of chin where it enters the room three days before you do."), and of course, "The Date Adventure" song is a classic!

 

Oh that song is great! My favorite song is ?Hyperactivity".

 

I am alos a fan of Mark Lowry. I like pretty much all of his stand-up stuff, and a lot of his songs are hilarious. It's good to see a page like this on the boards, as opposed to some of the other stuff that could be here.

All right! "Hyperactivity" is really funny too. sha, which one is that on? Is it on "Live on Broadway"? I haven't seen that one yet.
