Lit tallest humans?

what are some of the tallest humans in the expanded universe? besides darth vader... i am 6 foot 5 without shoes and my hair dousn't add anything to my height, so i was just curios. the guy from the x wing novels, which i am currently reading. loor seems fairly tall. although when compared to isard it says he is only half a head taller then her. is she really tall or what? i stand over a head taller then most shorter people.

 

Dooku has to be up there.

 

Zekk and Dessel/Bane are both two meters in height.

Malak's another listed as around two meters, though going by the game alone, he looks to be considerably taller.

 

So when Zekk was going out with Jaina, the top of her head might have reached his navel.

 

Yeah, I believe Christopher Lee was around 6'5 in his prime. However, he may have shrunk a bit in old age... he's quite a bit taller than Hayden Christensen, though, so I imagine he's at least 6'3 when he plays Dooku.

And yeah, Vader obviously. If we're talking about tall people in the X-wing series, Kell Tainer is called tall very often, but I don't know exactly how tall... I got the impression of maybe 6'2-6'3.

 

Does Vader really count though?

I mean his legs weren't really "his" perse and Anakin wasn't that tall himself( about 6'0 ft).

 

Not technically Human, but Bey has to be in consideration. Especially because Nagai aren't particularly tall, so not sure where the height is supposed to come from.

 

Anakin is routinely described as tall (I believe he's 6'1). Not giant or anything, but fairly tall by most standards. He might just look tall next to Obi-Wan, though... not sure how tall he is, probably a bit below 6 feet.

 

True, I guess it depends on what you consider tall.

I always thought Skywalker was above average, but not tall like Qui-Gon and Dooku.

 

Yeah, I remember Windhams Anakin biography describes him as "tall" a number of times.

Hayden Christensen: Somewhere between 6'1 and 6'2

Liam Neeson: About 6'4

Christopher Lee: This one has some argument. At least 6'5 in his peak, though probably 6'3 or 6'4 now.

If you look at the comparative heights of Legacy characters and work off Luke's appearances and his known height, Kol Skywalker looks to be around 6'4". Krayt is monstrous, at least 6'6". And, just for the record, Stazi is gigantic, too. Like 6'6".

Good point. In any case, he has to be almost 7 feet tall.

 

Bane is very tall and so is Malak, dont know who else is though, my brother Mikey is 6'6 and a half inches and weighs 270, he towers over everyone he meets and is very muscular with a lot of extra body fat too, i am only 6'2 and a half and just over 200 lbs, so some of height is genetic.

 

Kar Vastor is listed at over 2 meters.

 

Well, when they were practically considered an item, he was supposedly much shorter. It wasn't until later novels that he was described as having another growth spurt that put him at two meters.

It kind of freaks me out that Jaina is in the 4'8" - 5'0" range. I mean that's terribly short. I like to imagine her being in the 5'2"-5'4" range. It's a lot less creepy that way. Besides, images in which she's standing next to someone suggest that she's much taller.

 

No different from her mom; Leia is tiny too. The only Skywalker woman out that isn't pint-size was Shmi.

 

I know his height was not natural but Irek Ismaren after he became Lord Nyax was very large too, at least 8'0 or more and thats just for starters, he gave the Yuuzhan Vong quite a shock when they first encountered him.

 

Well Mara Jade was at least 5'2". At least. I don't know if she counts.

 

Reading through the names so far, I'm finding myself somewhat surprised by the actual lack of really tall people.

Looking at the list here for instance, I don't think we've seen any humans in Star Wars that are getting to some of those near-3m heights, which is surprising considering the number of perfectly normal traits the EU has usually spun off into unnecessary "Near Human" offshoots.

Of course, now that I've said it, next season TCW will probably have a Planet of the Giants episode.

Mara was actually normal-sized, IIRC. 5'4" or 5'5" I think. I meant "Skywalker women" in terms of Leia/Padme/Jaina-all obviously blood relations. Mara breaks the trend by apparently being from a planet where women are allowed to not be tiny
