This is confusing. In insider 57 it shows Tam and his father Daye, as humans. But SbS mentions that Tam is a Duros (page 295 or 296). Any enlightement?

The son, Tam, looks cute on the picture from the Star Wars Insider mag. And he's a mind reader...hmmmmm...wish he could read what's on my mind, planned for him... :)

They're definitely humans. They were on Duro I think. Isn't Daye Tinian's husband?

    Yes he is Mastadge.

I heard that Tam was apart of Saber Sqadron in SbS with the call-sign "Quiet" (I read this on wampa's site). But I don't remember that in the book. Anyone else?

Well from tales of the empire,It says that Tam's mum was hieress of i'att armament company.Untill Imperials killed her grandpappy and grandma.Tams mum became a bounty hunter whilst his dad disapeared somehow but found his way to Luke Skywalker. They reunited later.

Tinian I'att is a human female from Drunkenwell, a Mid-Rim planet. As posted above, she was the heiress to I'att Armament b/f Imperials had other intentions and seized the business.

Daye Azur-Jamin was engaged to Tinian and also worked for I'att Armament - however, I'm not sure if Daye grew up on Druckenwell.

Both Daye and Tinian were separated when I'att Armament was destroyed in an explosion. Daye was severely injured, separated from Tinian, and joined the Rebel Alliance. Because of Daye's injuries, he wanted Tinian to believe he was dead.

Tinian became an apprentice bounty hunter under the Wookiee, Chenlembec (sp?), but secretly, the two worked as Rebel Operatives safewaying their captives onto Rebel Alliance safeworlds.

"Offscreen," - the two were reunited and had a son, Tam Azur-Jamin.

Why "Tam" is described as a Duro in SBS is one of those things . . . ? Valiento has some good thoughts there. There's a human female scout in Galaxy Guide 8: Scouts who considers herself a Duro because she grew up amongst Duros on one of the Orbital cities. So who knows?

And yes, "Tam" formed one part of a triad within Saber Squadron with Masters Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade Skywalker forming up the other two parts.

"Daye Azur-Jamin" - like Seyerin Itoklos (sp?), Swilja Fenn and Raynal Thul - is missing in action. Daye was last reported in Hutt Space before his disappearance. Note however, Seyerin and Swilja are "presumed" dead; Daye's fate is slightly more optimistic (so is Raynar's). So again, who knows?
