This is a weird topic, I admit, but I wanted some opinions. I have come to associate women wearing "some" of these items to be somewhat promiscuous looking, and politely put, "not for me". Now, I admit I am prejudging here, but prejudgice isn't exactly something to be ashamed of, in fact, it's more of a safety tool, and a shortcut. If I can take a look at a woman and see ALL of these items on her... and decide to be cautious and runaway, odds are I have saved myself the trouble of potentially getting in a bad situation.

Let's clarify: Are woman who have Tatoos, Belly Button Rings, Hula Hoop earrings, and Thongs more at risk of being Mrs. Wrong?

Oh and I'd conservatively guess that at least 50% of s or s have belly button rings...

Excuse me, but with that subject line I've got to excuse myself to the puke-bucket.

Short answer: no. Long answer: depends on the person.

well, I have 1 tattoo (planning a 2nd), and had my nose pierced in college. I've always considered myself a "normal" person when it comes to dating people. If I'm dating someone, I don't play head games or any crap like that.

    just my $.02

Well, I can at least say that Men with an earrings, tatoos, and maybe a tongue ring would be more at risk of being Mr. Wrong, i.e. breaking hearts

And thongs are fine with me, :) , but in many cases the woman that go along with them are kind of wild... or should I say more at risk or being wild, just as potheads are more at risk of being idiots.

It's all in the person not what they wear. I certainly hope no one judges me on what I wear. I don't.

Having a belly button ring does not mean that a girl is "Mrs. Wrong". As for having a tattoo, I guess it depends on where and how large the tattoo is, but even in that case, it still depends on the girl.

However, if a girl is wearing a thong, I think it's safe to assume she isn't wearing it because its comfortable.

Well, lots of people have tattoos that aren't felons, gang members, prostitutes or drug addicts.

A lot of people have piercings who aren't rock stars, pop singers and drug addicts.

A lot of people wear earrings who aren't exotic dancers, hookers or drug addicts.

Thongs are sexual? Sure men like them and sometimes strippers dance in them, but that doesn't mean that everyone who wears them is easy. If I wear a pair of pants, I'd rather the world not see the outline of my granny panties and all their glory. With a thong, this problem is elimanated.

So, I think that if you're going to prejudge women based on trends that they follow, you don't deserve the girl anyway.

CarbonKnight, no offense but you seem like a prude. :p

Edit: The most devout Christian girl I've ever met had an awesome belly button ring, she wanted to eventually get a tattoo (but couldn't get one until she moved out of her parents' house!), and was incredibly obsessed with all the current fashions -- thongs included. I might also add that she's making someone a damn fine wife right now.

that's an insulting, unintelligent cliche like generalization. back up your argment with something intelligent or shut the hell up.

I'm not into wild women, and I'm not into wasting my time.

Prejudism isn't PC anymore, but if you honestly have never prejudged someone, there may be a problem.

It's mostly about safety... I'm going to be cautious when approaching the enormous biker guy walking down the street... should I be? Yes... it's a human instinct... without it, we would have never gotten here.

I never meant to imply that I'm so righteous and I've never judged. But you're the one posting an extremely insulting topic asking the stupid question about whather you should judge them or not. I think common sense can pretty much answer your question.

LAS, I didn't think that you implied that. However, it seems pretty constant for society to collectively think that prejudice is wrong, when instead it's extremely hypocritical. I can understand how one could be offended, or "insulted" but at the risk of being flamed extensively, I will state my opinion that people who grow up in very low income levels are more at risk of breaking the law.
