For those among us determined to ink their flesh in the name of the trilogy, I have asked an artsy-type for references.

    He gave me two.

    -----~-----

Steve-O at Capital Q on 101 Av. Near Capilano I recall, sort of.

Danny at Ink Machine on Jasper Ave.

    -----~-----

He said they have both done AMAZING work, mostly complex colorful large pieces. I know you guys are going small, but if you want an assurance of quality, here's a start!

For those of you who have looked at Star Wars Insider #68 you'll probably have seen this already, but for those of you who haven't, there is an article in there about Star Wars Tattoos. Featured on pages 48 and 49 are two tattoos done here in Edmonton at Shambhala Tattoos by artists Justin Kovesy and Steve Hayes. And they seem to be some of the better looking ones on the page! :D
For those who are interested, they can be reached at:

Raptor is where I've had all of mine done....only one is Star Wars related...so far. Clint at Raptor is a HUGE Star Wars fan amd I certainly trust him to do work on me. My Star Wars Tat is a work in progress. So far I have a tattoo of the thingy Zam Wessel uses to do up her cape. It's only about 4 weeks old so I have to wait another 2 to 4 weeks before I can go back for shading etc. It's on my upper left arm...so anybody at Starbucks tomorrow can see it if ya wanna.

And since I have more on different areas....I can give anyone who wants to know the low down on where it hurts and where it doesn't so much. Be warned though....the dang things are addictive!!

Oh...and Steve at Capital Q. Great guy....talented too! Shop is nice and clean...very important. My friends own a store just down a couple of Capital Q called Exposure Clothing so I checked out Capital Q when I went to visit them. Only thing that made me go back to Raptor was that I'd had work done there four other times. Raptor is $120.00 per hour....Capital Q is $125.00.

Well after doing some serious thinking I've decided that I'll be getting the rebel alliance symbol tattooed on my forearm. But not just that. I'm going to do it as a whole sleeve covering the forearm (have the symbol inverted so the middle of it is on top of my arm with the wings swooping down and underneath). For something that big I won't be able to afford it for a few years (saving for C3 and an X-box right now, tattoo's next on the Queue)

Nice to see some SW fans getting inked with SW related tattoos!

I love tattoos and am having my first SW related one in November... the Imperial Logo on the inside of my right wrist about 2" diameter :D
