as if the gunship wasnt cool enough already, the box shot reveals brand new ARC trooper figures. Captain Fordo is a new figure, as you can see by his skirt, atriculation and weapons. The ARC trooper is the same old one, although the ARC at the very end of the gunship is holding a different weapon, I doubt it is new. the heavy arc gunner is present as well holding his minatureized rapid fire gun, smaller than seen in the show. The pilots are clone evolution pilots, but they seem to be cleaner, possibly signaling a re release?

No word on any of the figures yet, but the box shot leads you to belive the new ones will come out and the old possibly re-hashed.

That gunship is awesome but will be difficult to sneak something that big past my wife.
Here's hoping that they repack the ARC troopers and spoil all the ebay'ers overcharging fun.

When is this getting released? I know I'll be looking for it everywhere. I'm obsessed with getting a Gunship. I love them. I missed out on AOTC's and ROTS', so I have to get this one! Anyone know?

 

That goes ditto for me. I would love to own this, but how to explain two gunships to my wife? Well, I have two daughters and it would only be fair for them each to have one...

But yeah. That gunship looks sweet! I'll definitely consider buying one of those. (though I have no idea where to put it. )

 

All joking aside I see one repainted vehicle that is just too cool, a potential re-issue of the Red ARC Trooper (I could never find one for less than $25), and blue/grey Trooper, as well as a possible new Heavy Gunner (fashioned after the AT-RT Driver?).

It might be a good year for Clone lovers yet.

OMG, that looks absolutely SWEET. I've got to get me one of them bad boys! I'll finally be able to put my AOTC/Clone Wars clones to use! For me, this is definitely the most awesome thing coming out this year that I'm aware of.


And yes, good work with the title, Master-Fett. I miss that thread.

 

Great paint job, that really looks sweet! But, not for me, no room for 3.75" figure vehicles and even less money for them. I'll let ya'll fight over them. Now, the figures are a different story...those will be mine!

I painted my command gunship that theme, and youre correct it itsnt too hard. I'd recomend possilby a different paint the the normal apple barrel or dreamcoat used to color figures, and foam brushes work very well. I was able to coat it in apple barrel, but due to the size of the gunship is require a laarge amount of paint and didnt cover as well. I never got to doing the mouth, but i would assume just color it red then outline and color in the rest with small paints and brushes. The main reason for me to get this new gunship is due to the fact I'm going to customize cody's orange leigon that I want to make a cool gunship for them.

I'm not a big vehicle collector, but those clones look very cool. I'd welcome the opportunity to add some of them to my collection.

The face on the nose is a neat ode to the old WW II bombers (The famed B-17 'Memphis Belle' is arriving here in my town at the National Museum of the USAF BTW). Certainly adds some character... maybe too much character, though.

 

Looking at that one clone again, it looks like a repainted Barc Trooper.

Its actually an atrt driver head... and was to be my next custom The body however is not atrt driver. Theyve used the angle that he faces to hide it, but that head is sticking out above the body a bit, little bit of a long neck. That is due to the fact that a shoulder pad usually goes in between the head and neck... which would mean that the torso at least is the ROTS clone commander. I forget which arm has it, but one of the commanders arms has extra ammunition on it, so if its the one thats hidden it has commadner arms, if it isnt, different set of arms. That skirt of his looks like commadner bacaras if you look closely, and the legs could be a couple of types...

either that is one frankenstien clone, or habro has pulled one over me and made an entirely new body. I think the first it more likely...
