So, in TFA, JJ very likely being told by Lucas, have put these words in the mouth of
    Han Solo:
"That is not how the Force works", when Finn tells they will use the Force to enter the base and so on.
I guess we are being told that Force is not like a magic button that you push and obtain what you want.
There are ,over the whole Saga, few things told about the Force.
What we know more clear, watching Rogue One,is for the light siders, is very important
to believe you can do thing, with the help of the Force.
We also have some things told about the Force in episode I, but very few , a few more in episode
IV - A New Hope and also some more,in Empire Strikes Back, when Luke is trying to pull out his ship from the water.

As for the dark siders, you need anger and hate and pain, which you convert in dark side Force abilities.
That is also made clearer in TFA, where Kylo hits his wound, to generate pain, which he converts
in a very strong Force ability against Rey.
Now we can also understand how Darth Vader becomes so powerful with the dark side of the Force,
after he is loosing Padme and he is in that suit.
He has lots of pain,of hate,of anger.

The whole idea of the force has been thrown out of whack (for me) since the PT... I used to think it was something anyone (within reason) could obtain/tap into if they were taught and had the patience and determination to achieve the skill and knowledge.
The dark side was something that angry and impatient people fell into whilst trying to achieve greatness... I want power, and I want it now! Driven by anger.

I think if you relate this to our world - A martial artist that trains for all their life, and only uses the skill set if absolutely needed - and in the course of carrying out their duties. As apposed to someone fuelled by emotion that gets angry and wrecks someone because they can... And worst of all - They get enjoyment out of it! (We all have most likely come across people like that)

Angels :bluesaber: and Demons :kylosaber: and all that... One group focus on what is right and the other don't care...

The Force is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us and binds the galaxy together - Obi-wan K.

Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes - Yoda

The Rebellion uses the "May the Force be with you" as a kind of religious phrase.

Rogue One gave us perhaps the best force line since '77: "I'm one with the Force and The Force is with me", which Chirrut uses as a prayer of sorts to protect him from harm.

Maz Kanata "The belonging you seek is not behind you... it is ahead. I am no Jedi, but I know the Force. It moves through and surrounds every living thing. Close your eyes... Feel it... The light... it's always been there. It will guide you"- She's like Chirrut, she knows of the "teachings" of the force, and probably can sense some of it (just like Chirrut), but is NO Jedi. Not trained.

“A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away… to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things.” - Yoda

I wonder if Maz and Chirrut didn't train because they were found lacking.

Anyways, actually I think Han is incorrect in saying that that is not how the Force works. QGJ says in TPM that "the Force will guide us", Obi-wan says to Luke "trust the Force", and "your eyes may deceive you, don't trust them". OR the "Feel, don't think!"

Han's knowledge of the Force is limited since he is not a Jedi and didn't observe Luke's training with Yoda. What he's getting at is that Finn has a misunderstanding of the Force, which like a lot of non-Jedi, is not uncommon. Han tells him that his idea won't work since that's now how Luke has ever operated, much less Obi-wan.

Very nice told about the light side of the Force.
And now I have seen Kaz says about the Force what Yoda was also saying.
But I think Han Solo tells Finn that his view upon the Force is not correct.
Finn says that they will use the Force and that is not same with "The Force will guide us."

Finn tells that like using the Force is same with using a weapon.
Because Finn does not understands than .

I love that part because Yoda is at the point of exasperation and reaches out, not just as a teacher or an instructor. He's talking about a personal relationship with that which helps him transcend material disadvantage.

You can infer that this relationship defines a Jedi and a Sith or dark side user.

An alliance with mutual advantage and respect is almost always more successful than one where a dominant party simply exploits or enslaves its "allies". That kind of alliance is precarious and the dominant party can often find that force deserting or defying them, ultimately.
