The Sith really need a better dental plan

 

Maul got his dental plan in Rebels

 

Sidious believed in neither toothbrushes nor toothpaste and he passed that belief down to Maul. It's one of the ancient Sith teachings, don't you know?

 

Am I actually considering waking up at 1am in the morning to watch this episode? Is this what it has come to?

 

I was up at 3:30AM when the last one dropped, I don't regret it

 

Can't wait for this!

Considering how much was packed into the first episode, I have no idea where this next one is going to leave us. I wouldn't be surprised if Palpatine gives Order 66 by the time the credits roll.

Despite the fact that I know the fates of all characters involved, I still have a sense of dread. Now that's good story-telling!

 

I'm always tempted to stay up late to watch it, but I never do.
When I was a kid I was willing to get up early on the weekend to watch TCW when it was moved there, 2 am however is pushing it.

I'll watch it whenever I get up tomorrow.

 

Staying up til 3:30am depends on if I can find enough to do to keep me awake that long, otherwise sleep will get this episode into my eyeballs sooner.

 

I stay awake till 6:00 am so 3:00 ain't a problem for me.

 

I think Maul will be taken care of at the same time Anakin kills Dooku more or less. Then we get a little time skip of a week for the next episode, Order 66 goes down.

I just hope this episode makes sense with the timeline of Episode 3

 

I think its more likely Maul will be capture around the time Grivous dies. Dooku dies very early in the Movie, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened right at the end of the previous episode.

 

Well, we've got the Revenge of the Sith music cue during the landing that might be supposed to tell us that's where the movie kicks off. So I guess it kinda depends how long they have the initial siege go for. How long for Ahsoka and Rex to reach that balcony, and then for Ahsoka to get down into the tunnels? Unless I'm missing something, the gap for them to reach the balcony, and subsequent travel time, allows for some time stretching within reason. It could have been less than an hour, or maybe a few hours.

Then I suppose it's a matter of how many gaps in time they include in 7.10-12. To take a guess at it (no new information here for those who have seen the trailers and TV spots, but as it pertains to future episodes as well as this one based on footage we have I'm going to put it in a tag):

Ahsoka and Maul's duel seems to go from evening in the throne room to middle of the night in the lattice. Time jump. Speaking to Obi-Wan, potentially already on Utapau as he has his hood up like when he sends his ship away. Bo looks over the damage to Sundari. Ahsoka and Bo shake hands. Getting Maul onto the ship plus travel time to partway to Coruscant taking up the time Obi-Wan spends there until around Order 66 when Ahsoka senses it, presumably around the point Maul seems to get loose.

 

Will be interesting to see how the Maul/Ahsoka battle ends. Remember in Rebels Twilight of the Apprentice, during their lightsaber duel, Maul says to Ahsoka, "Running away again Lady Tano." Wondering if their Clone Wars battle sheds light on that comment.

I was exhausted the following day but so worth it. Working from home now also allows me to sleep until at least 8:30.

Not until TCW comes back (if ever) will I ever do this again, so might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

 

Well that was absolutely heartbreaking.

 

They mo-capped that fight right? So much better then any duel on the shows so far. It looked so much more real.

 

27 mins and it cuts straight from the last episode without a story reel.... this really is going to be a 2-hour movie feature!!!

 

That was hands down one of the best duels of the entire saga. Damn.

 

Other then involving a double bladed lightsaber... yas.
