Interesting to see if they've improved the animation from the film or not.

Some of the building conflict scenes look pretty badass.

Ah, Christophsis, the Office Building World.

Well, it is the world where the Republiuc first deployed their fearsome, though highly-specialized, Miltontroopers.

Allow me to repost this, just so I can say "I told you so" afterwards. C'mon, the preview makes it fairly obvious who the "hidden enemy" is:

On a side note, the guy to the left does look strange, his eyes are almost white! How can that be? Just simple contact lenses, some weird SW operation, or a genetic defect? And if the eyes can be genetically defective, why not the "loyalty gene" as well...

Oh yeah, guy on the right certainly knows those two are up to no good. Pretty sure he'll be found in the bottom of the river midway through the episode.

ha ha ha, that's awesome, gry.

the guy on the left, looks like he's maybe blind in one eye, but both of them are looking at the guy in the middle suspiciously, that's for sure.

the beard is the dead giveaway.

How sick would it beto get a fight happening inside tall skyscrappers? With a great chase scene (on foot) and our heroes leaping from one building to the next (Bourne-style) after the bad guys, with Anakin and Obi-wan giving chase and the clones, too.

    Drool...

I hope they do a clone line-up in this episode. Can you pick out the suspect? LOL.

    I can see it now.

Bad Guy clone runs down the hall with Rex, Cody, and Jedi in pursuit. He rounds a corner and puts on a helmet and stops. Everyone runs past him. Only R2 gives him a 2nd look.

Then Bad Guy Clones gifts Goldie to the Jedi, says he needs a home.

Also, the Jedi Fortune Cookie makes me laugh.

They're basically just rephrasing "ignorance is bliss" in a more awkward manner. [face_laugh]

An interesting tidbit from the OS:

?If one Clone can break from his brothers, and what he is bred for as a soldier of the Republic, and act on his own," Lee says, " how many more would do the same? This creates an interesting beginning of something to come.?

Begun, the Clone Wars have? [face_thinking]

    From the OS:

    <img src="http://www.starwars.com/img/theclonewars/news20090204/traitor_bg.jpg">

Rex and Cody must Uncover a "Hidden Enemy"

In the episode, the clones discover evidence that one of their brothers is leaking information to the enemy. Faced with the betrayal, Cody and Rex must uncover the spy before he is able to thwart the Republic's efforts to liberate Christophsis from a Separatist siege.

Director Steward Lee and writer Drew Greenberg were both drawn to the chance to look at the first break in the ranks of the clones -- an ominous sign of things to come.

"I thought it was interesting because the clone's logic is understandable," Lee says. "He no longer wants to be just a slave to the Jedi, and wants to try and break that infrastructure. He thinks he's doing the right thing for all the clones and that the sacrifice is worth it."

"It's all about the brotherhood, and how far those boundaries stretch," Greenberg adds. "Even the guy who turns out to be the bad guy makes the case that he was doing it for his brothers. This is about what it means to be a clone and what it means to be part of that brotherhood."

"If one clone can break from his brothers, and what he is bred for as a soldier of the Republic, and act on his own," Lee says, "how many more would do the same? This creates an interesting beginning of something to come."

I had the same thought. I would love to have this plot point be an arc for this series.

perhaps an arc in later seasons where clones fight for their freedom against the Republic. That has a lot of potential. I like where this may lead to later on.

Also, this could be interesting when we finally get to order 66. And it could also put thoughts in other clone's heads... say Rex.

I would be interested in following a stray clone who goes rogue after order 66.

    Assuming it's the same guy:

    Drew Greenberg's writing credits include:

    Buffy the Vampire Slayer
    Smallville
    The O.C.
    Dexter

I guess it's kind of an out for characters we love like Rex, so they don't have to be considered villains. We'll get a novel of Commander Cody repenting for trying to kill his friend Kenobi, etc.

I find myself (*gasp*) leaning towards DBrennan3333's theory here.

It will also make it possible for a clone to rebel against Order 66 or the creation of the Empire if they learn about them ahead of time. Which is my guess as to what Rex and some of the other not-in-ROTS characters might end up attempting near the end of the series, and getting offed as traitors on the process.

Who says Rex wasn't in ROTS? He could very easily have been any one of the clones with blue markings marching with Anakin in the "march on the temple" scene. That is IF he survives the show.

and i hate the idea of clones being able to rebel when THE WHOLE REASON AND PURPOSE FOR THERE EXISTENCE IS TO FOLLOW ORDERS WITH OUT QUESTION -lol how many DIRECT contradictions is this show planing to make already?[face_tired]
