I think the aliens (Mas Amedda, Kit Firsto, Plo Koon) look so much cooler in animated form than they did in costume in the movies.

I agree, actually. They look like they fit the universe a little better.

Agreed. Mas Amedda, specially, looks awesome in TCW.

Yeah, they actually don't look like walking puppets with huge hands or bad make up! They did an awesome job animating them in TCW!

I agree as well, the animation in general has improved greatly. I can't what to see what we have in store for season 3.[face_dancing]

I agree about the animation regarding aliens.

The non-CG aliens in the prequels that required speaking roles just looked dated. When Palpatine's Rodian aid informs him that the Loyalist Committee has arrive in AOTC, I don't believe his mouth even moves while speaking. Then there's the alien that wants Jar Jar to pay him/her on the Tatooine streets, and the Gran that argues with Bail, that also both look awkward.

I just wish more aliens spoke alien languages. Seeing Onaconda speak basic I found weird as all the Rodians in the films speak a different language, including Palpatine's aid.

    Reposting from the Canada thread:

Yeah, I'm hoping Canada will get Zillo Beast 1 tonight, since there wasn't an episode for Good Friday last week. That way at least Canada will be current with the US.

As far as we know, the UK is still getting Zillo Beast 2 Friday night/Saturday morning and will stay a week ahead.

I agree with everyone else that the aliens of Star Wars have never looked better than in TCW, particularly Mas Ameda.

I?m really interested in seeing what they do with this episode. I enjoyed the last one a lot, but I don?t see it deserving a part 2 really. Preparing myself to be amazed once again.

Wow- now that I can see the Zillo Beast's coloration more clearly, it reminds me of Titanosaurus more than anything else:

Looking at the preview for this episode next week, I bet everyone on Coruscant will be saying, "Oh, crud!", or something along those lines when this thing gets loose. And that's the only way I could express on these boards what they would really be thinking about next week without getting banned.

Whoops, wrong thread. Thought this was for 218.

We got Weapons Factory tonight, though.

Well... that goes down as my favourite episode of Clone Wars ever, Palpatine being rather blatently evil, insisting upon killing the beast, to which the beast then tries to hunt down Palpatine and kill him, ends with the beast dying with an epic twist at the end with Palpatine quietly giving the scientist her new orders, to clone the Zillo Beast.

Heavy Palpatine centric episode with Aayla Secura returning also, along with Padme once again getting involved in it, to which Mas Ammeda asks her if she ever has any more important things to do, Padme replies ''no, i dont''.

Just finished watching this. Pretty good episode, on par with 'The Zillo Beast'. I won't go into too many details here until more people have seen it, but I will say this; this is possible the first time chronologically that we see something not go as Palpatine 'has foreseen it'.

They should have known that taking the Zillo beast back to Coruscant was a bad idea. Mace knew it, but they didn't listen. They should have taken it to an outer rim planet and studied it there. I haven't seen the episode yet, but am looking forward to it.

I liked this one as well, mostly due to the Coruscant scenes. It reminded me of King Kong when he started wandering around.

THe twist at the end opens up some possibilities for the live action show. With Palpatine having the beast cloned, he could use it to bring rebellious planets back into line.

You **** with Palpatine, you get a Zillo Beast deployed on your planet.
