I've got my money on either Osi Sobeck or Fives kicking the bucket.

Let's hope for a great ending to a pretty decent trilogy of episodes.

Maybe...just maybe Echo will be revealed to have survived. [face_praying]

A better fortune cookie would be this.

"Victory without honor is victory still."

Kind of harsh, and not keeping with Jedi tradition, but I like it more.

After the Dave Filoni facebook post I don't see Fives dying and Echo is definitely dead.

The only "major" casualty I see it Osi Sobeck being killed by Dooku.

I think they're doing this to piss people off. :p No reason to have back to back Ahsoka stills, then in two weeks there will be more Ahsoka-based episodes...

    Oh, well.

I bet Fives is going to die, though.

It's just a picture for the episode guide. Everyone knew Ahsoka would be on this episode. No surprises there.

Hey at least she's bothering to use both sabers for once.

You reckon Fives will volunteer to stay behind and hold them off, or something equally heroic? I'd bet he would want to avenge Echo.

I still don't see why she needs two lightsabers anyway, given her ability to use one good. It's for her to stop being so perfect for once, and be a decent character.

Per the preview, I'm sure Fives will be the one "that stays behind," and dies. It was a waste for Echo to die, and there's no point in keeping static, lesser developed Fives around without his buddy.

Maybe they killed Echo so Fives can finally get some more and much needed character development? I say Fives lives and his role in TCW increases.

That's lame and a poor decision. You can definitely increase Echo and Fives' friendship with them together or apart. Killing off Echo to make Fives shine is wrong. I would have liked it better if both Echo and Fives were together, and they shown us more of them working as a group. If Fives was given a chance to be a better character, they could have given him a leadership role in these episodes, or he could have offered a hand. I don't want him to be this background character at one point, and then take all the action for himself later on since Echo isn't around.

It was Anakin, Even, and Obi-Wan's cockeyed plan that got Echo killed in the end. If they wanted to do something interesting with Fives's character, they should have Tarkin take charge for once and succeed where the others failed, thus paving the way for Fives's personality to become a colder, war-hardened veteran, the type who will later turn on the Jedi and take up arms behind the Empire.

At the moment the clones are still all buddy-buddy with the Jedi. Using Fives as an exemplar for why the soldiers of the Imperial Army are so "cold," and why they would eventually follow decisive commanders like Tarkin, could add an interesting last chapter to the Domino Squad arc.

Oi! Why you not lettin' me take charge, oi? Just 'cos you think I'm some officer doesn't mean I can't fight, oi! We can't rely on the ARCs to do all the dirty work for us, oi! And you Jedi are too attached to yo hippie code to do anything useful, OI!!!

    Sorry Brits, couldn't resist. :p

    That's cockneyed, you!:p

(Although to be honest, I was just about to post it as "cockneyed" before catching the mistake at the last moment...)

The thing is that sort of goes back to my opinion of how they kept fives as this background character, and then since Echo isn't around any longer, he's going to explode and be this aggressive trooper. Again, I feel Echo's death wasn't needed. It was out of character for him, and it felt more of bad writing than as a result of Anakin's plan. I felt it was Echo's own motive to do something out of character.

Fives could either take some lessons to heart and move on from Echo's death in a healthy manner after going through the stages of grief that people in Star Wars have. Alternately, he could hold onto the harsh feelings and, like Barriss said, tie in a bit with the coldness of the Imperials.

In essence, he'll be doing what Anakin does anytime he has a Darth Vader moment.

Also: JEDI ACE TRIO FTW! :D
EDIT: I'm still unsure on whether they'll all be piloting starfighters or not, but even if it's just Saesee, it'll be a nice reference thrown in. [face_peace]

When I sent that letter to Dave Filoni requesting that TCW have as much Ahsoka as possible, I did not think he would take me seriously...

I have to say I like the inverted grip. True I don't want every character to use it, but it's a unigue, signature style for Ahsoka.
