An aimless Asajj Ventress joins a team of bounty hunters under the leadership of young Boba Fett. On an alien world, they undertake a dangerous but profitable mission that tests the limits of their skills, and the strength of Asajj's character.

A filler.

 

"Shut up, Dengar!"

 

Definitely a filler. But considering what we saw in the 1st episode, and what we know is to come in the last two, the filler is very likely to be the best thing in this whole business...

 

As far as filler goes, there's nary a filler better than coconut. God I could really go for a Bounty right now..

 

So true. Which doesn't say much....

 

As much as I like Dengar, I really hate that they're throwing every bounty hunter from ESB into TCW, and not only that, but they're working together, and in the case of Bossk and Boba, Bossk seems like he watches out for the kid. I wouldn't be surprised if the bounty hunters in ESB get retconned to be a team, given that the scene will be something of a reunion for the group Might as well throw Zuckuss, 4-LOM, and IG-88 into TCW to round out the group

 

I know why this episode is episode is called "Bounty"...

Because we'll need a whole lot of these...

... to clean up the continuity mess.

In all seriousness, I am actually looking forward to the episode. (Aside from Dengar.) Based on the preview that ran after Massacre it looks to be full of classic-style SW action, which is always a good thing IMO.

 

Except IG-88 wasn't built yet. IG-86 is good enough for TCW.

As much as I was disliking Dengar's shoehorning into TCW, they seem to be going about it better here than they did with Greedo. Dengar here looks far younger than the grizzled merc from Empire, and there's still time for him to develop his Solo grudge.

Greedo was just the exact same person, in the exact same bar. Here, Dengar seems a bit more well integrated.

 

This was like how they handled Greedo, only we didn't see the episode yet. I have to see how they use him this time around.

 

From the looks of things, it will be better, but only time will tell. He at least looks younger, so it's a start.

 

It's waaaay too early for him to be a bounty hunter.

 

Dingo Dengar vs. teh Ninjas!

That's so strange it's made me somewhat intrigued.

 

Please no. I am not looking forward to having to spend another five months just to make Zuckuss's article look presentable again.

And I didn't know that Bounty was a chocolate bar. Now I want chocolate!

I wish I could see how George pitched this to his crew:

Filoni: So how are we ending Season 4?
George (takes out binder): Well, we're going to make Asajj a bounty hunter. She won't be a Sith anymore.
Filoni: Well technically, George, she was never a Sith...
George: ...and she's going to work for Boba Fett.
Filoni: You mean with Boba Fett?
George: No. For. Like she worked for Dooku.
Filoni: ...um. Alright. And they're going to...
George: And Dengar's going to fight ninjas.
Filoni: Dengar's going to -- wait, Dengar?
George: Ninjas.
Filoni: Ninjas?
George: Dengar. Ninjas.
Filoni: ...
George: Oh, and we're going to bring back Darth Maul too.
*Several hours later*
Filoni: C'mon George... really? You really had this planned in that notebook all these years? Nobody's gonna buy this... not even the kids at Toys"R"Us.
George (frazzled): Fine. We'll add a scene with Embo and he'll have like, a wolf. Happy?

 

More like:

George: Ventress is now a bounty hunter.
Filoni: SOUNDS GREAT!!
Some writer: Yes!

Note: No sarcasm by either one.

 

Ah, I see I'm not the only one who calls them "fortune cookies."

 

I think a lot of people call it that.

Boba Fett being a leader of this team....doesn't seem PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE. Shouldn't he be in a prison? How can he be in 2 places at once? Its INCONCEIVABLE i say.

I hope we get a flashback of him escaping...but knowing TCW...it will just be left to our imagination.

 

Though he can't be a cyborg, because he became a cyborg because of a swoop incident with an ADULT han solo. If they don't show him to be a cyborg....then i would be happy....though i shouldn't get my hopes up....this is TCW after all.

 

So we have two new characters called High-See and Latzz

We know they got "Lee-char" from a tuna logo...

Anyway I think this could be a fun episode if it was placed somewhere else in the season or for next, it just feels odd here. Would be a nice solo episode for Season 5. I'm afraid they'll cram too much Maul/Oppress/Kenobi into the final two episodes.

The look for Boba is well odd and I'm glad they improved the Bossk model, he looks fantastic.
