I can also confirm my latest scoop from 'insider sources'. There's going to be another animated series at some point in the future that delves into the time frame between ROTJ and TFA. It'll involve Luke to some extent rebuilding the jedi order. It was also involve the imperial transition into the FO in some way. No confirmed release date yet but this is most likely going to be made at some point. I hope you guys appreciate the hard work that went into me getting this totally not made up info from people within Lucasfilm. I mean it's not like I could just make up such a credible sounding series synopsis...
I think we will see more Rex as main character and Ahsoka would bel like she was in rebels a reccuring character. I think they both left each other as a jedi survivor would be hight target that could easily be discovered. I think if we see her in this sequel show it will be after she met with Bail and is apart of the small cells of rebels. I think it will be right after the war and dea with 5 - 10 year old gap as the empre is expanding and killing of the last of the jedi. We could get some last sepratist holdouts that the Tarkin book mentions abd how brutal Tarkin was. We could get a clone rebellion with empire invading Kamino. Rex and Saw Guerra metting up and work together, they seemed friendly in rebels and they didn't interact mutch if ever in clone wars.
The worst thing is in the next animated series Ashley is going to be fired and Rosario Dawson is voicing Ahsoka
Pretty sure that’s not been confirmed, I personally can’t see Dave getting rid of Ashley, as soon as there’s voice work for animated Asoka to be done he’ll be on the phone to Ashley.
Seems we could be getting story of what happenned to clones post clone wars and how Rex reached out to his fellow brothers and they removed their chips and with empire abonden them. Maybe aclone rebellion. Characters from season 7 could appear such as Echo.
I don't know... Does anyone even remember Saw Gerrera's original voice actor anymore? Forest took over the part completely, even in animated and game appearances (admittedly though I just looked up the original voice actor and Forest is more race appropriate. But even if it had been an African heritage actor doing Saw originally, I'm not sure he would have kept the part once Forest came along unless the voice actor was an even bigger name).
Andrew Kishino, didn’t even have to look it up. Also, it’s not like Ahsoka was just in one story arc. If Saw wasn’t in Rogue One he would’ve been a barely remembered character. Ahsoka on the other hand was one of the stars of the show and has a lot of fans, many of whom know who Eckstein is. Also, let’s not forget that Ahsoka being in The Mandalorian is nothing but a rumor at this point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So the rumour which in my mind is pretty much confirmed at this point is that Asoka will show up in a single episode of the mandalorian witch will be used as a jumping off point for both the rebels sequel series and the live action Asoka show. as for this Clone wars sequel show I dunno I kinda take it with a pinch of salt. Cory always seemed like a nice guy but I feel like he’s looking for clicks. And yet before he said anything on a CW sequel I sure did feel like there was more with Asoka and Rex well I was watching them leave that planet on the Y wing at the end of season seven. Also some plot points left unanswered from CW like Barris offie. So I could see a sequel show that takes place more immediately after ROTS.
Apparently now the rumor is this Clone Wars successor series will be a Bad Batch Spinoff.......Honestly...I can buy it.
The Bad Batch would be the easiest of all the clones to do in live action because they don't actually have to look identical. Bad Batch, starring: Temuera Morrison as Hunter Daniel Logan as Echo Bodie Taylor as Wrecker Dee Bradley Baker as Crosshair You have to kill off Tech for this to work but Tech and Echo would both fill the same role on the team as the hacker character, so narratively it makes sense anyway.
I really didn't like the Bad Batch arc, plus I think this is quite an uninspiring decision. Hope it’s not the case.
Here's all possible characters that could appear in the rumored TCW spin off story, post ROTS and before rebels.
I mean I know many people wanted to see more Bad Batch from when they first appeared so the idea of them getting a spin-off doesn't seem that out of the blue. They already have the assets. If it takes place relatively soon after Siege of Mandalore their is no real need to transition to all out Imperial design yet, all least for a season, so again more assets and settings. It really would be just recycling what you have, get new scripts and animation ready to go.
The most telling thing about this rumour is that literally none of the other insiders have reported on this. I could be reading in to this but bespin bulletin posted this four days ago.
Bespin Bulletin's also specifically corroborated the rumour of a Rebels "successor series" and not any of these other rumours.
I'd only want to see Bad Batch again in Order 66 because they would have been freaking insane taking out Jedi. But after they'd be just kinda lame.
I can see a story where Echo's forced Separatist borgification inadvertently ended up immunizing him to the Order 66 brain chip's effects and he refuses to kill Jedi.
Star Wars Underworld reported on this rumor and gave some interesting thoughts on how this could work out...If true: https://www.starwarsunderworld.com/2020/06/the-swu-podcast-live-190620.html
The funny thing is, Kessel Run Transmissions contradicted themselves when they spoke about this. They said it’ll be announced and released before the Rebels follow up show, saying it’ll be out early 2021, whereas they were pretty ardent on the fact that the Rebels thing would be a November 2020 release. Basically I think a lot of this is wishful thinking/fan fiction hopes from them that people are grasping onto due a drought of new content.
Well Domcock is reporting that they are going to use the Vale from World Between Worlds in Rebels to reset the ST. Make of this what you will
