The Clone Wars quotes

My apologies if such a thread already exists. I haven't seen one.

Thought it might be good to start a list of folks' favorite quotes from the film and first season of the show.

I'll get the ball rolling with a good one, though not necessarily my one and only favorite.

From Trespass
Obi-Wan to Anakin: "Shut up."

 

I'm gonna have to paraphrase this one, but it's Obi-Wan's last line from The Gungan General.

"Oh, Captain? You'll find that Count Dooku does not share our sense of honor. And...he knows where you live."

 

I'm going with Nute Gunray for a few ones here.XD
"Yeees, yeeees! Such DELICIOUS irony!"
"Open this door and I'll buy you a planet!"
*whacks Gree over the head with blaster butt*
"I always had a good feeling about you, Captain."
"I always had a good feeling about you, assassin."

And from Tee Wat Kaa, though I'm not sure if I got it exactly right...
"What does it matter who started the war, and who only wants to end it? No side is free of fault. It takes two to fight!"
"Only by laying down your arms and taking a stance of nonviolence can you assure me that Jedi are keepers of the peace!"

And from Kit Fisto...

(after Nahdarr blows the fog away) "Charming."

Cad Bane had a couple of lines which, even if they weren't all great, were highly advertised. XD
"Ah've gott businessh with the Senate...how 'bout you boys step aside?"
"Son, I wouldn't be so hasty if I were you..."
"I'm in control. I make dee rules now!"

And of course, at least one from Plo Koon...
"When you ask for trouble, you should not be surprised when it finds you."
"I value your life more than finding that weapon."
(wryly)"Your sense of humour is improving."

Of course, there are quite a few good exchanges, too, but I'm going with single lines that can stand alone.

I actually have a favorite line from every episode, haha. But it would take a while to type them all.

Not sure exactly how this goes...

Obi-Wan to Jar Jar: "We'll get you some training Jar Jar."
Rex pointing at Jar Jar: I am not training him.

There are a lot more, but I'm too lazy to remember any of them.

battle droid from 'Innocents of Ryloth': "This is the about worst job in the droid army." I'm sorry, droid humor can be over the top sometimes, but seeing a battle droid cleaning an animal and saying that, funny, IMO.

And of course, most of Cad Bane's lines from "Hostage Crisis" but the one I liked the most was right after he shoots Senator Philo: "All right then."

I'm including the movie, if that's okay.

From the montage at the beginning, the clone voice shouting out "Where's our reinforcements?"

That really surprised me on the first viewing, and it still brings a chill whenever I hear it. I guess because I was expecting the clones to be droid-like -- very unfeeling, stoic, calm under fire. And then that last voice sounds so desperate . . . it could have been taken from any real-world combat situation.

It's not a catchy or witty phrase, but for me, it set the tone for the movie.

 

I agree. I like the clone voices talking during the Lucasfilm logo. That "We need reinforcements" is chilling.
