i can't believe its december 7th.

festivus and xmas are coming soon followed by 2024.

i work christmas and new years day which are both time and a half i believe,

lady b did i tell you about the brand new building up the street from me? its accepting applications so i filled one out.

its only a five minute walk from my current location but further from work.

covid killed rent and now if i move out its almost double everywhere. so itll be hard to find a larger place is all.

this one i applied for is low income. so it would be more then i'm paying now but less then the market value.

well its a brand new building so itll be much nicer and likely larger then my current place.

its only 5 more minutes of walking. maybe i'll start saving up for a car now that i have a good paying job.

if i get it i'll probably end up getting another cat.

i found one i want on the shelters website but don't want to get it where i live now. ugh. lol.

 

its a huge contrast between my last job.

I don't remember ever committing to watching Star Trek. I only own the JJ Abrams ones. I did the Wrath of Kahn on memory. I just saw Godzilla Minus One is was super duper. I don't have DOD either.

Having a crappy job that one hates is a good motivator to want to strive for a better career, I had one when I was in my teens in a shoe shop, I hated every minute of it, but it made me work harder to ensure I never have to work a job like that again!

How's it going on this Friday? Yesterday the weather was great, today it's colder and there's a snow/rain mix throughout the afternoon and night. I did some yard work the past few days, including this morning. I attended a poetry open-mic on Zoom last night...a friend of mine was the featured reader.

 

If there was tea on Tattooine, it might be Shaka Blue Magic tea--it turns the water blue as you steep it. It has lemongrass, mamaki, and butterfly pea. I'm sipping on some right now..topped it off with some almond nog.

 

But it got your foot in the door.
