Darth Hades Mandalorian Outpost of House Saxon Hades stood in the dimly lit room. A holomap displayed the settlements for the Mandalorian houses. House Saxon had chosen an alliance with the Sith and Hades was now here to ensure success for House Saxon. He awaited the arrival of his apprentice, Darth Vyatoris with the goal of dispatching him to find the Jedi. Hades wanted to test Vyatoris, and this seemed like the perfect oppurtunity to do so. Darth Vyatoris Arrival at House Saxon Darth Vyatoris was alone, the singular passenger of an unassuming cargo freighter, stashed comfortably inside a textile crate. Were the precautions necessary? Unlikely, yet covering one's tracks was always beneficial, especially when the Jedi may be involved. Jedi.. The very thought put a bad taste in his mouth, a bile which could only be resolved one way. The Miraluka unconsciously ran a hand over the grip of his lighstaber, fingers dancing across the etched spirals of his hilt. It will be interesting to see how their training has evolved over the years.. Vyatoris' attention shifted back to the datapad in his opposite hand. His Master had given him precious little intelligence about the mission ahead, apart from general information on the two houses of Mandalorian society which would be directly involved. Saxon and Kryze. The first house wished to ally with the Empire, the latter with the Jedi. The politics of either failed to interest Vyatoris to any serious degree as he sat flicking through the various troop details of both houses. It appeared nothing more than another minor squabble in the grander eternal war between the Sith and the Jedi. Then why has Darth Hades taken such a personal interest in thi- His thoughts were interrupted by the tell-tale bucking of the freighter breaching atmosphere, a sign he had expected more than an hour ago. I swear, I'll never bad-mouth a fighter again.. Nothing can be as cramped as this.. With the freighter's landing taking place any minute, Vyatoris quietly exited the textile crate through the top hatch, carefully leaving it as he found it. He rose to his full height, brushing away some of the fuzz which had accumulated on his pristine robes. The freighter was delivering supplies to House Saxon from a third party, a nice cover for Vyatoris' infiltration. The instant the freighter touched down, Vyatoris slipped outside, concealing himself within the throng of passerby's heading in and out of the outpost. He concentrated inwardly, shielding his force aura from the scrutiny of any hidden force users, and made his way inside. A fake Identity card flashed here, a mind wipe there, and the grey robed Miraluka found himself within the Operation Center of House Saxon, directly into view of his Master, Darth Hades. Vyatoris immediately fell to one knee, tilting his head towards the somewhat dirty floor. "I received your beckoning Master, and I await your instruction." Tag: @E. IC: Serapis Mandalorian Outpost of House Saxon The Ithorian was uncomfortable as he stood slightly behind Hades. "Are you sure about this alliance? These 'Mandos' can be unstable and... provincial. I heard of one who died in a Sarlacc pit screaming like a ... " Serapis trailed off at the angry glances from Hades and one of the Mandalorians nearby. Apparently this was a sore point.
Kato Sai At House of Kryze Headquarters “Where there is Darkness, there is Light.” These words echoed as a mantra in my mind. Upon a cushion of amber color, I crossed my legs and began to reach out in the Force. There was a response, a shadow, serpentine, and in its wake a weight that bore down on my entire being. I tried to discern its purpose and source, but the more I reached out the more it coiled until it became a labyrinth of scales. I broke from the vision. Not able to penetrate its meaning, I decided to shelve this vision and concentrate on the task at hand. Perhaps my Master would have answers upon his arrival. The House of Kryze was astir with Mandos gathering the victuals and ceremonial robes for the signing of the Treaty. I felt the elation in these Kryzenites at the prospect of making an alliance with the Jedi Order. I felt myself drawing strength from their joy, Ashla growing more luminous in the presence of hope. Leaving the shrine and my mediation, I arose, my Jedi robes swaying in the motion. Many Kryze Mandos at the sight of me nodded, and some placed their fist with their index and middle finger pointed upward on their breastplates, and bellowed “Ijaat at te Jetiise! Honor to the Jedi!” With all the preparations, I began to wonder were Master @Kyber Acyk was. He had promised to rendezvous in time for the treaty signing, which would be any day now. I paced the hall, beneath a canopy of white silk which was held together by amber colored columns, I felt unease. This peace was threatened by the rival Mando clans. A Jedi presence on Mandalorian soil after the Mando Wars was a sign of hope, but I sensed not all Mandalorians were glad of it. The stain of Revenchists was still strong. Not all had forgot how Jedi Knights Revan and Malak had hunted the Mandos to near extinction. I could, even in the House of Kryze feel the sorrow of those who had lost so many at the hands of Renegade Jedi. If we were to make a fresh start, and heal the wounds caused by Revan and his followers, it would begin with this treaty. The fate of Jedi and Mando relations hung in the balance, and there were many ways this fragile peace could be shattered. Reaching out in the Force, I sought my Master. The sooner he arrived, the safer the House of Kryze would be. TAG: @Kyber Acyk @Silvertough, @E.L.Knight @DarthlshyZ
@DarthlshyZ @E.L.Knight @Silvertough I am no longer of GoL, so my duel cannot be offical anymore. It is my wish if it is not prohibited, to let @Silvertough recieve a win by default. I do not wish to bother you noble Sith Lords with the particulars, please see fit to reward Silvertough as you see fit. Kato Sai
OOC: We will proceed with our original premise. @Kato Sai you can write a post that changes how you proceed. But for the moment, remain a Jedi in the sense of the story. You can start off with your Jedi Master not showing up, perhaps? This is now a test for you both. Darth Hades Mandalorian Outpost of House Saxon Hades chose to not reprimand the Ithorian except for a look. They needed to show a united front and openly fighting among themselves served no purpose. Vyatoris was knelt before him and Hades felt something akin to being impressed. He, of course, didn't show it on his face. Hades rarely showed any emotions. "House Saxon has allied itself with the True Sith Empire. They wish to dominate their fellow Houses. Unfortunately a certain house, House Kryze, has chosen to ally themselves with the Jedi." Hades walked to the console and activated a map that projected above the table. "This is where House Kryze is located. Go find the Jedi. A report has said one lone Jedi apprentice has been seen. His master arrived with him many days ago, but the elder Jedi then left. Our scouts do not know where he went. I want you to find out where he is." TAG: @Silvertough
IC: Darth Serapis Saxon Outpost Serapis listened intently to Hades. Then he walked over to the window to consider the situation. He'd said, "His masterarrived with him many days ago, but the elder Jedi then left." This is the most dangerous time for any apprentice, Jedi or Sith. It was foolish of the Jedi to abandon his apprentice like this. If Hades' apprentice was canny, he may come back, not with a body, but with a recruit. Tags: @Silvertough, @E. L.Knight, @Kato Sai

Leaving the shrine and my mediation, I arose, my tattered Jedi robes swaying in the motion. Many Kryze Mandos at the sight of me nodded, and some placed their fist with their index and middle finger pointed upward on their breastplates, and bellowed “Ijaat at te Jetiise! Honor to the Jedi!” At this I grimanced inside, for I had left the Jedi Order, and had not the heart to tell them my I was now an Outcast. With all the preparations, I began to wonder were Jedi Masters were. They had promised to rendezvous in time for the treaty signing, which would be any minute now. I paced the hall, beneath a canopy of white silk which was held together by amber colored columns, I felt unease. This peace was threatened by the rival Mando clans. The fate of Jedi and Mando relations hung in the balance, and there were many ways this fragile peace could be shattered. Least of all that I now was like Revan, rent asunder from the Order, and susceptible to passion. Reaching out in the Force, I sought the Masters. The sooner they arrived, the safer the House of Kryze would be. Suddenly I heard a great blast sound. Hurling from the sky was a ship aflame, which crashed on the landing pad and nearby structure. I sensed in the Force and could not discern any of the Masters. Arriving at the wreckage I found burnt bodies and rubble. The Jedi envoy was incinerated. I looked to and fro for the cause of this tragedy and could find none. I stood over the burning pyre of corpses. Smoke bellowing like incense for these poor souls. Kryze Mandos emerged from the enclave with water canons and walker spraying white mist, but the flames were unabating. Now the only Jedi presence on this planet was me, an Outcast, a taint on the Order. TAG: @Silvertough @E.L. Knight @DarthlshyZ
IC: Darth Vyatoris Saxon Outpost - Command Center Vyatoris rose to his feet, taking a moment to brush away the dust which had accumulated on his robe. "This House Saxon made the right choice, a shame about the others, they will fall in line in time, I'm sure." He murmured, his attention resting fully on the projected holomap, taking special care to note any and all points of entry and exit. He made a point to cock his head to the side, to demonstrate that he was in thought. "This lone Jedi.." Vyatoris paused, staring hard at the holomap. "Are we sure he has no reinforcements? No allies secreted away? This House Kryze will support the Jedi.. meaning I will have to strike silently. An assassination among their midst will sow chaos and confusion throughout the clan, giving me a window to escape unnoticed.." Vyatoris glanced towards Darth Serapis. "Either way, the overlaying objective is to stall the Jedi-Kryze treaty, no? If an opportunity arises in which this Jedi can be turned, I will pursue it, if not, a body will be all I can offer, my lord." Vyatoris clucked his tongue, his gaze shifting back towards Darth Hades. "What kind of time frame am I working with, Master? I find it doubtful I'll be dealing with only the singular Jedi for much longer.." TAGS: @E. L.Knight , @DarthIshyZ , @Kato Sai
ICC: Kato Sai Ship Wreckage The flames of the pyre grew dim. All around stood Mandos who had battled the blaze, their orange and silver helms titled down, and tainted with soot. I stood there in silence, the gaze of dozens fixed upon me. Some of the Kryzenites began to argue. Mandu: This was the work of House Saxon! I told you there can be no peace with savages! Another Mando retorted: we must not lose heart! The Jedi will guide us and bring an end to this conflict. I wondered if that statement meant the Order or me. I hoped the former, for unlike Revan I had no stomech to play Saviour. Mandu: We must take up arms and offer reprisal! Kriskua: That’s not the Kryze Way! The Mandos began to argue, placing their metal gauntlets upon one another, and raising a stir. In the tumult I heard a voice say: Master Jedi! Master Jedi, please.. Mandu: The Jedi cannot help us! Will we become vassals to them?! How is that any better than being slaves! The sea of noise rose, and I turned to see the Mando crowd throwing insults and arms. Those who refrained from joining in either held the more riotious back with a web of arms and hands, or fixed there gaze on me. Kato: Enough. Enough! My voice sounding like the roar of a hyperspace engine. The Mandos ceased their bickering, with arms suspended in mid air and turned. Kato: I do not know what had caused this tragedy. But I know your House has a better chance of survival with the Jedi than without. We must get communication to the Jedi Council and relay what has transpired. This is a test of our resolve, our Ijaat! Let us not fail, especially in the presence of those who gave their lives for this noble cause. Wiping the soot and sweat from my brow, I made my way back into the Headqaurters, passing the Mandos who now saluted by pounding their chests and following me inside. Good. They are convinced. I on the other hand am not. TAG: @Silvertough @E. L.Knight @DarthIshyZ
Darth Hades Saxon Outpost Hades looked at Vyatoris. "Engage only if you must. I want you to find out where the Master is." As he spoke, Nakir Tal'Orar, a mid level Mandalorian among House Saxon entered. "Lord Hades. There are reports that the Jedi's ship has crashed. The Jedi apprentice is now alone." Hades nodded once and dismissed the Mandalorian. "It seems the dark side favors us this day. Go and co firm the apprentice is alone. Then bring him back here. Alive preferably." Hades deactivated the map. "Do not disappoint me." TAG: @Silvertough
ICC: Kato Sai, Kryze Headqaurters Inside the amber halls, I found little solace. The Masters dead, and my communications to the Council on Courscant likely not to be heeded. How could they trust an Outcast? Perhaps they now suspected I was liability, a thorn in their flesh. Regardless I was now the only Jedi presence on the planet. The Kryze looked to me for leadership and guidance, and I found assuaging their fears an exercise in diplomaric bluffing. I had to keep morale high, especially with the Treaty being in jeopardy. Pacing the hall I could hear the tumult of Mandos still making preparations. Their hope now on the end of vibroblade. A Mando in silver armor approached me with a helm hewn with the image of Bantha Skull. Barek: Master Jedi. We’ve recieved as message from the Jedi Council. Please come at once. I followed the Mando to a room with a massive green display and a dozen Kryzenites tending to smaller screens and controls. On the screen was Jedi with green tails, a Twi’lek. Master Dorak Un. Dorak: This message is to any remaining Jedi on.. the ship carrying Masters Res Pilo and Kurra Opi has the treaty.. you must salvage it and sign it.. return it to the.. Council.. hurry! The image of Master Dorak faded to black as the transmission ended. Kato: The wreckage. We must inspect it and retrieve the Treaty! Barak: What do you need Master Jedi? Kato: Give me two of your best men. Barak: That would be Mandu and Ikosa. I made haste to the sealed door with Mandu ans Ikosa in formation behind me, they gripping their ion blaster rifles. I exited and made a trek to the crash site, the ship still ablaze. The sky became thick with smoke and thidering clouds. Kato: Search the area.. I will look inside the ship. With the Force I sought the Treaty, and searching I found unsual signs of disturbance. Kato: Someone’s been here.. I hears ion fire outside, and scrambling to exit the haul, I made my way outside to the sound of blaster fire. Tag: @Silvertough @E. L.Knight
IC: Darth Vyatoris Saxon Outpost Vyatoris simply raised an eyebrow towards his Master. "It would be far easier to eliminate the target, my Master, but I will do as you have instructed. Once I have determined the location of the apprentice, I will send you the coordinates." He turned back towards the projection of the holomap, studying it a final time before heading out. "I will begin my search at the crash site. I predict the apprentice will wish to search it thoroughly before the content's are damaged any further.." Before exiting the room, Vyatoris made a quick mental note of the equipment he had gathered beforehand for the mission. The initial request by his Master had been deliberately vague, offering few indicators to what he would be facing on this mission. As a result, the Miraluka had brought with him a little of everything, small items which could help tip the odds in his favor in a number of different situations. His Lightsaber was as always attached firmly in place by a strap on his forearm, the slim hilt itself concealed by his loose-fitting outer robe. Another staple in his arsenal was a number of pinpoint sized recording devices situated across his person, the sole purpose of which was to record and save his battles for review at a later date. Each device was linked to a collapsible datapad stored in a pouch on his hip. Next to which was two sealed syringes, one containing a powerful adrenal shot, the other being a dose of kolto. Lastly, two sonic concussion grenades were safely housed in a protective case on his opposite hip, the explosives finely tuned to only inflict minor damage to organic beings, the desire being to simply stun them for a few seconds. Happy with his selected gear, Vyatoris nodded farewell to his Master, before slinking out a nearby door. The nature of the two Houses' conflict would make infiltration simple. The Saxon guards would be actively searching for Kryze members, and vice versa. Neither would pay any heed to what appeared to a blind old human. With an afterthought, he focused inwardly once again, disguising his bright red force aura with that of a pale blue, not enough to be confused as a Jedi, but just blue enough to blend in among the Mandalorians of House Kryze. Conversely, he also focused outwards, pushing his consciousness out from his physical shell of a body, determined to find the gleaming blue aura of naivete which would make up an apprentice Jedi. Ho.. So many of these Mandalorians are filled to the brim with bravado.. Natural warriors, no doubt why Darth Hades has taken a personal stake in this conflict.. Ah, there you are Jedi.. As suspected, your aura is drenched in the stain of the light side.. How did I miss you upon my arrival I wonder.. His destination set, Vyatoris' returned his consciousness to his body and strode onward, a tiny smile breaking his otherwise other neutral facade. ____ Outskirts of crashed Jedi ship The journey itself had taken no longer than two hours, most of which was spent navigating around various patrol parties from either House. Master Hades had never specified whether or not he could be seen by anyone other than his target, but either way, Vyatoris didn't mind. Extra training could never be turned down, especially in hostile territory. That being said, the extra exertion spent had cost him time, time which might have given his prey time to prepare for his arrival. If he's even noticed me yet.. He mused silently. No, appears as if the Jedi is preoccupied searching the wreckage, excellent. Once again, he paused to re-conceal his true aura, just in case. The element of surprise would be critical in the engagement ahead, losing it would put the Miraluka Sith at a major disadvantage against the Jedi. The constant application of his force concealment was beginning to tire him somewhat, a fact which would also play some hand in deciding the outcome of the battle. Even so, Vyatoris remained confidant in his abilities, more so in the teachings of his Master. Up ahead lay a clearing created by the wreckage of the crashed Jedi ship, its carcass releasing lazy plumes of smoke up into an ever-darkening sky. Vyatoris crouched low, shielding his form from sight behind a rock outcropping. The ship's perimeter was currently being guarded by a pair of Mandalorian Warriors, each with an ion rifle held neutrally in hand. Tsk. House Kryze Mandalorians, if the markings on their armor mean what I think they do. Their positioning is enough to presume that the Jedi is currently inside the ship. I'll need to get rid of them somehow.. Killing them would be easier of course.. But Darth Hades was vague as always.. A distraction will have to do.. He sighed inwardly, before silently sliding his datapad out of his robes. With a press of a key, his confirmed his coordinates and sent them to his Master. With a final press, he flicked on the number of datarecorders on his robes, before sliding away the datapad. Across the clearing stood a cluster of trees, opposite to where the Mandalorians were standing. With a focused hand, Vyatoris reached outwards with the force, deliberately snapping a number of branches just loud enough to be heard over the din of the burning wreckage. The twin Mandalorians immediately snapped their attention towards the sound, rifles firmly pointed in the direction of the trees. Now, why don't we go investigate the noise, hmm? From the direction of the trees, Vyatoris lifted a small pebble up into the air, before yanking it hard back towards the Mandalorians. The rock impacted between the two into the wreckage, shattering instantly with a resounding ping, almost akin to an old slugthrower. Simultaneously, he focused hard on the Mandalorian closest to him, planting a false thought inside which showed a rifle wielding foe hastily retreat further into the group of trees out of sight. The pair reacted brilliantly, letting loose a salvo of ion blaster fire into the trees, focusing entirely on shooting at the imaginary retreating enemy. Vyatoris, meanwhile, took the distraction as a means to sneak closer to the wreckage itself, using it as cover to further conceal himself from the Mandalorians. If everything went according to his plan, the warriors would pursue the enemy into the trees, leaving Vyatoris alone with the Jedi.. Tag: @Kato Sai , @E. L.Knight
ICC: Kato Sai Kato emerged from the main hatch of the ship. The smoke now like incense than thick clouds and the teo Mandos gone. As the Jedi stepped out of the wreckage on to coals, he felt a shroud blanket his mind in shadow. The Apprentice took a knee and placed his right hand on the ashen soul, his mind dizzy with a cloud. I feel it.. Bogan.. There in the open ground, Kato called to the Force. Around the circular site of metal debris and blackened soil, a eave of wind began to ripple from the Jedi position. Then there was a calm, and Kato rose, reaching for his Praetor saber, ignited a blue topaz blade. The hum of the weapon filled there air ans bathed the Apprentice in blue light. There was nowhere to run. I am the Prey.. come to me.. @Silvertough @E. L.Knight
IC: Darth Vyatoris Crash Site As he had hoped, the pair of Mandalorians tasked with guarding their Jedi ally charged into the nearby tree line, crashing through the shrubbery with reckless abandon in pursuit of an imaginary enemy. Vyatoris couldn't have planned it better if he had tried. Now physically pressed up against the hot metal of the smoldering ship, Vyatoris pressed on, making sure to time his footfalls with the pops and cracks of the flames. The capture of the Jedi was his primary objective of course, yet, he still needed to make sure of one final matter. He slowly reached the edge of the ship, still taking care to fully obscure his form behind the exposed durasteel. His abilities only blocked his aura from view through the force, it did nothing to hide himself from view through more normal means. The Jedi moved suddenly, most likely reacting from the sudden outburst of blaster fire from his allies. In an instant, he was outside of the crashed ship, alert and prepared for battle. All according to plan.. Now, how alone are you truly Jedi? Vyatoris paused a moment, before tilting his head around the open hatch of the crashed ship, taking a good look at what was inside. Ah, very alone it seems, most excellent indeed.. The ship's interior was a graveyard, the crew, as well as the Jedi passengers, seeming to have been flung around upon impact, now lying in crumpled heaps, limbs twisted and gnarled in unnatural angles. Vyatoris allowed himself a small exhale of relief. For most of the journey to the crash site, Vyatoris had been unable to shake the worrying prospect of walking into a trap; The Jedi simply shielding their auras from view, as he had done for himself. But no, they were as dead as dead could be. With his mind put at ease, Vyatoris directly aimed one of his hidden cameras towards the various remains of the ship's passengers, making sure to record their demise in full detail. That should be enough for Master Hades.. Now on to the Jedi. Vyatoris watched as the Jedi completed his ritual, a small grin growing as his blue blade ignited. Blue blade, blue aura. Cute. Well, would be in poor taste to leave the man waiting, he already knows someone's here for him. No point hiding away now. Vyatoris rose to his feet and exited the ship with a single stride, bringing himself out behind the Jedi, who stood a dozen or so feet away. Simultaneously, he dropped the internal shields he had previously placed on his dark side aura, setting his nature free at last. He doubted it would do much other than initially startle the man, but an edge was an edge after all. He halted, leaving his feet shoulder-width apart, his hands clasped loosely behind his back, lightsaber still concealed within the confines of his robe's sleeve. "How nice of you to steel yourself for me beforehand, Jedi. Wouldn't want any of those pesky emotions to get out of hand, hmm?" Vyatoris gave off a disarming smile, while pushing his vision outwards with the force. A moment later, he returned his full attention back on the Jedi. They truly were alone, no traps in sight, and the Mandalorians still off in the woods, searching for an enemy which never existed. "Shame about your companions though.." He paused, tilting his head back towards the crashed ship momentarily. "Hard to believe it, but we had nothing to do about their demise.. All that time spent devoting themselves to the cause, all for naught. All their achievements, gone. Their hopes? As lifeless as their corpses.." Vyatoris trailed off, slowly switching stances, his right foot now farther back than his left, which slid forwards an inch. He purposefully put his full weight on his front foot, giving off the illusion he might launch into an attack at any moment. "Tell me Jedi, what worth did their sacrifice bring? Why did they constrict themselves so, when in the end, it brought them nothing?" Vyatoris smiled a toothy grin, his hands still clasped behind his back. "Those corpses are as pathetic as the Order they represent!" "As you represent.." He ended with a sneer, crouching ever so slightly in the process. Tag: @Kato Sai , @E. L.Knight , @DarthIshyZ (?)
ICC: Kato Sai Crash Site, House Kryze The Jedi stood with the bright blue blade humming as he took notice of the dark figure emerging from the wreckage. The words of the Sith like serpentine fangs tearing into his soul. Kato was an outcast, a reject of the Order, no friend in the world but the Force. Kato: So at last.. the shadow I sensed in meditation. You speak of their sacrifice, and contriction. And yet sacrifice is alien to Sith and constriction a way of the Dark Side.. choking each victim of breath, and burying the Light. Kato took a few steps and held his saber by one hand, not in an offensive stance, but to illuminate this interloper. Kato: Those corpses you mock, are but charred shells, the souls now One with the Force. They died to bring peace to the House of Kryze. As I will too, Ashla Volente (If the Force Wills). As an Outcast, Kato drew his blade to his face and touched the forehead, the crackling of the blade and sparks made a mark. He then did the same underneath his right eye and then a circular sign under the left eye. Kato: I am ready.. “let’s dance you and I.” TAG: @Silvertough @E. L.Knight @DarthIshyZ
Darth Hades Mandalorian Outpost of House Saxon Hades watched the footage that Vyatoris had sent to him. "So, the apprentice truly is alone." He pressed a button and Nakir Tal'Orar entered. "You signaled me, Lord Hades?" The Mandalorian asked. Hades eyed the Mandalorian, his black and gold armor nearly spotless. Hades was unsure if this meant he was meticulous in keeping it perfect or he simply never entered battle. "Go and observe the fight. If the Jedi starts to prevail, provide assitance to Darth Vyatoris." "As you wish." Hades could feel the annoyance in the Mandalorian, but the warrior would obey, none the less. "Serapis, what are your thoughts, so far?" TAG: @DarthIshyZ @Silvertough @Kato Sai
IC: Darth Serapis, observer Saxon outpost Serapis stood watching the monitor. It was impressive how the apprentice goaded the Jedi into fighting. It's interesting, he mused, how the Jedi claim to be peace-loving beings, yet they'll whip out their lightsaber at any provocation. Watching on the monitor wasn't enough, though. He found getting a first-hand feel for the battle always helped. He was preparing his own backpack when Hades assigned the Mandalorian warrior to go be backup for the apprentice. He narrowed his eyes at Hades. "My thoughts? Your apprentice is doing well. I like what he did with the two guards. But," he paused. How to say this diplomatically? Frak it. "that was a mistake. Your apprentice should live and die on his own. If he needs assistance he should be punished." With that, he grabbed his backpack, a communicator and a handful of sustenance and headed out. He was, naturally, a bit in back of the Mandalorian, but he utilized the Force to get in front of him. As he approached the dueling pair, he minimized his Force signature so he wouldn't give himself away. He listened a bit to these two parrying words. It was always entertaining to listen to Jedi talk about Ashla and Bogan. They claim they know so much about the nature of the Force, and yet, they'll cut themselves off from half of it. Tags: @E. L.Knight, @Silvertough @Kato Sai
IC: Darth Vyatoris Crash Site The Jedi's words felt meaningless, purposeless. They lacked conviction. Vyatoris cocked his head to the side, eyebrows momentarily furrowed. "The Dark Side, constricting? Pray tell, how did you come to that conclusion?" The Miraluka shifted his weight back into a more neutral stance, raising slightly from his crouch. "The Jedi are slaves to the will of their dogma! They purposefully blind themselves against that which they fear. The force is but another tool to be used, nothing more. It allows one clairvoyance, understanding of reality itself! How can one claim to understand anything if you cut yourself out of the bigger picture?" Vyatoris exclaimed, taking the opportunity to slide an inch or two closer to the Jedi. He smiled inwardly, the irony of a Miraluka preaching about sight not lost on him. "The Jedi are cowards. Only the Sith chose to take control over their destiny..." He paused, his nose twitching from the sudden smell of singed flesh. Vyatoris had been too preoccupied with his "sermon" to notice the Jedi's self-flaggellation. "It appears as if your mind is made up then. A pity." Vyatoris' face drained of emotion, mirroring the nondescript appearance of the series of grey cloth wrappings which covered his vestigial eye sockets. "You had such potential.." Without warning, Vyatoris exploded into action, a well aimed force shockwave directed behind his feet catapulting him forwards towards the Jedi. A thin silver lightsaber hilt suddenly flashed into view, ejecting from a hidden compartment within one of the Miraluka's sleeve. The blade ignited with a snap-hiss from an outstretched hand, bathing his muddled dark robes in bright crimson aura. Vyatoris gripped his lightsaber hilt with both hands, raising the blade above his head, seemingly meaning to deliver an overhead chop, cutting the Jedi down with a single attack. The series of actions occurred simultaneously, almost within a blink of an eye. Ultimately, Vyatoris' plans were simple: Blitz the Jedi with a flurry of attacks, render him unable to fight back, and eventually force a surrender, by any means necessary. Darth Hades and Darth Serapis wanted the Jedi alive, but they never specified how whole they wanted him. Besides, Sith prosthetics were second to none. Replacing an arm or two was child's play..
