The Fate of Quinlan Vos' son?

It occurs to me if "Ghost" is canon, then it's possible that Quinlan Vos' comment "steal your children in the night" (or something to that effect) may reflect what happened to Korto Vos. Its possible that Vader turned the boy into a Dark Sider.

 

That'd be a shame if that really did happen. Quinlan swore that "The dark would never touch you (Korto), or words to that effect.

 

It's so true. Mixing Hentz's purple to Vos' brown doesn't give you a dark colour.

 

Maybe Korto Vos is actually Darth Krayt.

 

I really hope we get a canon answer to Quinlan, Khaleen, Korto and crew's fates. If Aayla gets a nod in LOTF:Betrayal why can't Korto turn up for a cameo or something later on.

I would be really sad if Korto turned out to be a darksider, but many of the darksiders we have already met are the right age bracket and have hazy enough backgrounds that its possible they could be Korto.

 

I'd love to hear that Korto fought with some splinter rebel group, not the actual Alliance, mind you, just some small, local group. Don't know why, but Korto strikes me as not the type to join the mainstream Rebellion.

 

I found it interesting that Boba's wife was Kiffar. Maybe there will be some connection between Korto and the Mandolorians....who knows. One can dream huh?

 

Honestly, Quinlan Vos led a pretty crappy life. His parents were killed and he experienced it firsthand on numerous occasions....he flirted with the dark side, killing his Aunt in cold blood, he killed a senator he thought was a Sith Lord, he injured K'Krukh, he had to fight Agen Kohler, he had to fight Skorr, he had to fight Ventress, he had to fight Dooku, he had to fight Sora Bulq, his memory was taken from him completely, he almost killed Aayla, he was thrown at the witches of Dathomir and he looked like one battered and beaten SOB at the end of Republic. Khaleen wasn't someone that was ever meant to do anything noble. She was, in her own words, "Just another gutter rat" that loved Quinlan. She went through quite a bit of crap during the war, had both Jedi and Sith telling her that Quinlan didn't love her and would betray her, ended up in jail with Tholme, not Quinlan coming to her aid, she almost died returning the data to that Falleen.......

For "Minor" characters, these two went through a lot. Here is to hoping that one little family lived happily ever after. I hope we never hear how Quinlan and Khaleen were brutally murdered by Vader and Korto was taken for some Sithly experiments or anything like that. Quin risked enough. Let him and his family have peace.

It'd be nice if Korto just becomes a regular guy, lives out his life, dies, and it's just cool that he's the offspring of a Jedi that doesn't follow the route of saviour of the galaxy. I don't know why I spelled saviour with a u I'm American, but that's neither here nor there.

 

I think Korto could end up with the Mandalorians, actually. Maybe there's a hint of that with Boba's wife being Kiffar.

 

Maybe he became Sedriss.

EDIT: Unless there's some weird technology there to allow men to have babies. If Arnie can do it in Junior, surely the GFFA can.

Well couldn't Quinlan and Khaleen have another kid who became Mara Jade? Her age has always been rather hazy and I know several women who had a second child within a year of giving birth to one.

If Quinlan and family did survive they would have to use some sort of aliases so if we have met Korto it would not be under his birthname. Kind of like how Corran was clueless about his Halcyon heritage until he was an adult. Of course, for all we know Korto could be Wes Janson.

But...Quinlan's comments in "Ghost" always echoed with the Lord Nyax story that was actually Vader taking away Force-sensitive kids. I hope Quinlan was able to rescue him.

Korto Vos=Darth Krayt. That actually wouldn't surprise me, even though I maintain it's Jacen.

 

Korto Vos = Jariah Syn's great great great grandpa.

Come on, only the Vos's have dreads that sick.

 

Korto Vos = Blackhole = Major of Sernipidal = Darth Krayt = (travels back in time) Darth Andeddu.

 

I like it. Great connection, especially given Jan's feelings about how comic characters tell a lot about themselves by appearance. Come on, Syn and Quin look too similar for their not to be some connection, if not ancestry, then something.
