I just wanted to start a thread listing hard-to-find / non-reprinted / never printed (LostWorlds) Star Wars comic book stories.

Here's what I've come up with so far. Please correct mistakes and add anything I missed.

There was a online crimson empire #0 as well.

 

Technically, Lightsider seemed to have been something similar in nature to the Dark Forces novels - mostly prose. Don't know that it would fall under the traditional "comic book" designation.

But, otherwise excellent list.

 

Though Crimson Empire # 0 was reprinted with the Crimson Empire tpb...as was Mara Jade # 0.

Shadows of the Empire: Evolution is hard to find too... at least in my area.

I have both the Empire's End, and I know Sturm is looking for them both BIG TIME. I pointed him at some eBay auctions, but he declined. Speaking of which, I just nabbed my first adventure journal, #5 for $7.01, kinda happy about that.

 

I saw your list and I've heard about questions regarding Marve "Ewoks" #15, however, I was not aware that there was a Marvel "Star Wars" #108

 

Everything in the LOSTWORLDS list was a comic that was at some point in planning or development, but was not published, therefore lost. Neither Ewoks #15 or Star Wars #108 on were ever published. Ewoks #15 was ready to print, but never printed. Further issues of Star Wars beyond #107 were in planning by Marvel, but the series was cancelled.

issues#1- 3, #5 contained "Ewoks" stories
and issue#4 contains Muppet Babies doing a "Star Wars" spoof. Death Masque (aka S.W. Weekly #149) is also reprinted in one of the U.K. "Star Wars Summer Special" comics. I also think that there was a U.K. "Ewoks Annual" as well.
Also, does anyone know if "Star Wars Kids" is still being published? If not, how many issues were there, and which issues contained which comic stories. One more question. Which issues of "Star Wars Galaxy" and "Star Wars Galaxy Collector" contain which comic stories?

Issues #1-5 of Star Comics Digest reprinted issues from the Ewoks series.

Death Masque (aka S.W. Weekly #149) is also reprinted in one of the U.K. "Star Wars Summer Special" comics.

This was Summer Special 1983 had Death-Masque and a few of the other stories from DevilWorlds.

I also think that there was a U.K. "Ewoks Annual" as well.

This annual reprinted issues from the US Ewoks series, plus had a few short vignettes with art.

Also, does anyone know if "Star Wars Kids" is still being published? If not, how many issues were there, and which issues contained which comic stories.

The issues I listed were all the Scholastic Star Wars Kids issues with comics. These were later reprinted in the newstand version of the magazine #1-10.

One more question. Which issues of "Star Wars Galaxy" and "Star Wars Galaxy Collector" contain which comic stories?

All of the Star Wars Galaxy and SWG Collector comics were reprinted in either a one-shot comic or TPB by Dark Horse.

SWG #1 in "Droids Kalarba Adventures" TPB
SWG #2-4 in "Tales from Mos Eisley"
SWG #5-8 in "Boba Fett Twin Engines of Destruction" and later in "The Bounty Hunters" TPB
SWG #9-12 in "Shadow Stalker"
SWG #13, SWGC#1-3 in "The Jabba Tape"

 

There is also a comic from Sandiego Comic Con #4
which has a "Star Wars" story

 

Journey to Planet X is scolastic kids book.

 

Just so you all know, I am currently in the development of "The NEW Exhaustive Guide to Star Wars Comics" with the blessing of Rich Handley to use the name for my web page.

I created this thread to make sure all of my information is complete regarding the hard to find and rare Star Wars comics.

 

The San Diego Comicon #4 Star Wars comic was a sneak preview to the "Heir to the Empire" comic book adaptation by Dark Horse.

I'm actually still looking for this one myself.

 

Thanks Darth_Kevin. Also fyi you can get copies of the old STar Wars" newspaer strips off of microfilm of the L.A. Times. I found this at the local libray and copied them off as Zeroxes. Not the best way, but the only one i see for stories like "Planet of Kadril" etc....

Does anyone know the dates for the NON-REPRINTED NEWSPAPER STRIPS I listed?

I know that "The Kashyyk Depths" and "Constancia Affair" were Sundays only.
