Vernestra having a big role in an adult novel makes sense considering it will be released around the same time Acolyte comes out.

Not sure how big of a role she is going to have in that show but we at least know she is going to be in it.

 

She hasn’t really made her way into the adult novels yet. Sticking to the junior and young adult novels. It’s kinda cool. A kid could read the junior novels than the adult novels and the young adult novels and get Vern all the way to the top.

Jedi romance novel?

I have been reading phase 1 of the high republic comic and it is getting me stoked for more Avar content

Good point. Can be a clever marketing move to give a hint about Vernestra's past in The Acolyte, so that curious viewers will start to read THR to know more.

Well, a A Test of Courage was published 3 years ago, a kid that read it then can be not such a kid now.

Yeah, especially since, IIRC, Jedi in those novels hid their feelings from each other.

Regarding Naboo involvement - wonder how Gungans and their relationship with the Republic are going to be portrayed.

 

Interesting, will be fun to see what Naboo looks like now. Also a romance novel? sounds fun.

 

Naboo is just the right place for romance.
Wonder if the Trade Federation will finally make its appearence in THR in this novel, maybe even as Naboo's ally.
Vernestra is probably going to have a talk with San Tekka clan's members that live on the planet.

I would love if House Palpatine played a big role in saving Naboo. It would be extremely funny if everyone in House Palpatine was just good except Sheev. We know so far everyone related to him has been good. Except for himself

 

House Palpatine working with the Trade Federation save Naboo!

 

Can be an interesting storyline in contrast to the EU if Palpatines were long-time allies of the TF, lobbying for the corporation's interests on Naboo in exchange of bribes, with Sheev continuing to do it at the beginning of his political career. Then he changed the course radically and became the Trade Federation's vocal critic to gain sympathy in the Senate.

That is very interesting, particularly since there was at least one Gungan Nihil (and probably more unless the same one keeps somehow returning from death) and there was a Gungan physicist at a Republic university as well, despite most information suggesting the Gungans were pretty isolationist until the Trade Federation invasion (though admittedly some of Qui-gon's comments imply that the Gungans and Naboo were more intertwined than either culture would like to admit, i think there was at least some trade going on)
