I've seen these a few times in the shops now and they seem quite interesting. Has anyone on here read any of them?

They're by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast.

    There's a website here.

This isn't yet another vampire series, is it?

It does seem to be another Vampire series, but there aren't any vampires in it so far. I'm only ten chapters into the first book but I'm really liking it already. I'll probably get the rest of the books in the series when I can.

I've never been good at writing reviews, but here goes.

I don't think I've read a book that's similar to this one. Vampyres are 'Marked' to become vampyres and they undergo what's called 'The Change' which will turn them into Vampyres. Not everyone survives it though. When they're Marked they go to 'the House of Night', where they live and learn about being a vampyre.

I really liked the main characters, who are varied and have their own ways. The only thing I'm not sure about is the time frame, everything seems to happen a bit too fast. Aside from that I liked it and will be getting the rest of the series.

    :)

I don't normally recommend books, but yeah, I guess I do recommend this one. :)
