Magnificent! Would anyone like to discuss the incredible design and place of solice, that is the Jedi Temple. Reading the book gave me incredible images, moreso then those in the movie.
The Jedi Temple is one of the best structures in all of the Star Wars Galaxy. Hopefully we will see more of it in Ep III.
Indeed we do, and, IIRC, we see the actual entrance for the first time. Plus various briefing rooms, hangars and data chambers.
The temple looks awesome in ROTS. Nice new angles. I think its weird that the thing is still standing in ROTJ.
I kind of disliked that we didn't get a real full-shot of it 'til the end of AOTC; until then we had only really seen the Council spire.
If its that easy to enter the jedi temple, why bother starting a trade federation and clone army war.
The temple is very reminiscent of the old Mayan Pyramids, but it is an awesome sight, especially in ROTS. Is there any info on who the statues are of that guard the entrance? Probably just placed there to make it look more like a temple, but I was just wondering if there was a story behind them?
Good observation, about the statues. Although you would think that EVERYTHING has meaning to the temple. There is no reference to what/who they are in the book either It's possible that those were the Jedi that destroyed the Sith thousands of years prior.
Has anyone noticed that on some of the statues, there are speres floating above the statues hand, as though they are lifting it with the force?
