The Last Samurai

Does anyone love this score as much as I do? The tracks Safe Passage (especially when it gets to the part with the wind instruments), Idyll's End, and my favorite, Red Warrior are great. Every now and then it does sound like "Gladiator" in Asia, but Gladiator had a great score too.


And like that...he's gone.

 

Yeah, watching it again on DVD since the theatrical release, the score stood out again to me. I don't have the soundtrack, but it'a cool score. I would understand if someone said some of the musical themes repeat too much throughout the film, but I dig it.
