Was NOT expecting an homage to the How I Met Your Mother episode "Lucky Penny," but an entire episode of bacta tank flashbacks, with each memory progressively farther back in the past, was certainly an interesting choice, especially given the bacta tank was occupied by R5D4.

Very excited to see all the leaks. But unless it really ties everything in I will still be dissatisfied with the season. I like everything we have gotten so far but it hasn’t been amazing

 

Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil leading Mando coverts, Joan Collins as Mother Talzin... Wow, I never saw that coming!!!

 

Never thought they’d go the route of the ST being one long spice trip but when it was highlighted that Palpatine was Luke’s voice in Ben’s head, I guess the writing was on the wall…though who knew that the hand that wrote on the wall would be a feminine Zillo beast.

For me, the temptation was to address a certain bit of speculation but with minimal detail. I briefly looked for some non-spoiler reactions today and didn't find much (did see Alex Damon's general thoughts over the weekend, though).

This is quite possibly the best intro to any Mando ep ever, serious cool stuff. We are certainly shifting up 85 gears from last week.

This is an amazing episode, wish it was like this from the start. You could have easily drawn so much of what happened here out over a few episodes and have made it even more impactful.

Hats off, that was phenomenal.

I'm like, that was top tier and then see the director, no wonder. Well done Rick, well done.
