    Which is the real origin of the Death star?
    The Maw Installation? Or The seperatists(As seen in Ep II) thanks

    Given that the Maw Installation was constructed out of buried black ops Death Star funding, the Maw installation came at the time of the DS construction. Meaning the origins of the Death Star well predate the Maw Installation. The Death Star ultimately originated with Raith Sienar of the Sienar family of companies.
