A very debatable subject, which species and/or race do you think is the most military/warlike? I'd love to hear all the different opinions these are a few I'm thinking about:
    Tionese
    Mandalorian
    Rakatan
    Sith (species)
    Colicoids
    Niordi
    Trandoshan
    Kaleesh
    Dashade
    Yinchorri
    Yuuzhan Vong

Well, Kaleesh are my favourite, they have such a rich culture :).

Kaleesh do have a rich culture, yet I cannot help thinking of them as barbarians (Grievous sums it up)

I'm gonna go with the Yuuzhan Vong on this one (although Canderous Ordo from Knights of the Old Republic painted a pretty vivid picture as to the Mandalorians' war tactics, which were most impressive judging by some of his character's stories).

Any who, I'll stick with the Yuuzhan Vong as their species sought to wipe out everyone, and everything in their path. Not to mention they were almost successful in that respect causing the deaths of nearly 365 trillion sentient beings--among those casualties was one of the most beloved characters within the Star Wars universe, the one and only Chewbacca. The Vong warriors were particularly centered around the philosophy of pain--tending to glorify it, as not a motive for action, but rather a state of life itself. They believed that, just like their gods had sacrificed their bodies in creation of the galaxy, the Yuuzhan Vong themselves were to sacrifice parts of their body to serve a larger purpose. Furthermore, among their numerous traits they exhibited a great belief in discipline and obedience toward their superiors, and as such subordinates never contradicted their leaders. Not to mention one of their sayings was "Let the enemy fight", as their combat expectations relied on enemies to make the first move to which they would then ensnare them within a trap set for just an occasion.

The Yuuzhan Vong were primarily made up of two ideals, those being war and religion which were linked through combat. Even their namesakes, which consist of ranks such as Warlord Zsinj, Warmaster Tsavong Lah, Supreme Commander Nas Choka and Supreme Overlord Shimrra tell of a warrior race.

Whence the Vong danger first reared its' head, it was unlike anything the galaxy had ever seen before. So stated the novels at that time, and I bought into it hook, line and sinker.

I wouldn't say the amani, most of them are of different factions and uses. Uniting them under one banner and into a useful force would probably be quite difficult.

I vote for the Coynites. They're basically Klingons in the GFFA, created by WEG for the original SW RPG.

HUMANS. They provide the - compared to galactic demographics entirely unproportional, like say 80-90% of a galaxy were they are 40-50% at all - majority of all the Old and New Republic Army and Navy, the utterly militaristic brutal tyrannical Galactic Empire was obviously Human-centered and anti non-Human racistic, after the Great Hyperspace War they made up the most part of the Sith cults and empires, the earlierst recorded part of history were Humans are mentioned is a great war on their proposed homeworld Coruscant (such a trivial thing as the question of their homeworld caused dozens of wars, by the way) were they nearly got wiped out (in my eyes right for them), before the Republic they slaughtered each other all the time in the Core, besides 80% of galactic government soldiers and spaces being Human, even without space travel they brutally murder each other for such trivial things as to which of their groups a piece of land belongs, they wipe out entire planetary population just because their own brothers and sisters on it "belong" to another meta-group (dubbed "state" or "alliance" by them) of their species' members and an also unproportional amount of galactic tyrants were Human.

Those Humans are so brutal, aggressive, perverted, idiotic, warlike that I wonder how they managed to become so common in the Galaxy. Mon Calamari and Duros would deserve this place much more. Stupid Humans, which species capable of interstellar superluminal spaceflight along advanced AI can be so ******** to produce members which murder one of their own brothers and sisters just because the other likes another sports team or music band more than them (no other sorrows here, like the even the old Sith species had?) or because they were born on another planet (still the same species) or even more completely-nonsensical, on another part of the same planet. They should have gotten wiped out on their homeworld Coruscant (if Corellians, Alsakans or Tions..., sorry, I mean HUMANS from Corellia, Alsakan or the Tion Cluster which went there from Coruscant, read this: Strangle me to death if that's what makes you happy!) by that volcano or the Taungs when they still were Zhell, unluckily they survived and drove those poor Taungs off the planet which they later nearly destroyed by overpopulation, enviromental destruction and ressource deploytion (the latter only a revenge against themselves, haha), lol they destroy their own habitat (like Eriadu), more stupid only Duros can be!

My vote goes for HUMANS, in general, they're all the same, no matter if from Galactic Republic, Sith Empire, Tion Cluster, Coruscant, Alsakan, Corellia, Seoul 5 or Brentaal. They are warlike, aggressive, militaristic and obsessed with weapons and arms just to kill others of them.

The only species more brutal and warlike are the Yuuzhan Vong, they wouldn't even deserve to exist at all, slaughtering other species along THEMSELVES again for fictional characters from science fantasy stories they invented, if they haven't at least tried to better the Humans by give them what they deserve, a little setback by killing hundred trillions of Humans via attacking mostly Human populated worlds, taking their homeworld to claim it their new own (such a loss of face, Humans), they caused the Humans to unite with each others, to fight a common enemy that wants to wipe out all Humans for even more insane "reasons". Sadly, this "Galactic Alliance" didn't last long, a little time later the Humans turned against each other again. Amnesia or what?

Haha, you Humans. Do crazy things. Then try to blame it on others by claiming "not "the Humans", but only their leaders and elites want this", thihihi, what an excuse. First, they are "only" Humans (don't deserve to be Ewoks or Selkath!) too and then, still nobody can force thousands, millions, billions, trillions of Humans to do all he or she demands - they do it because "all Humans do it too" and "it's normal because the other Humans", bla bla bla, et cetera or the other Humans would force/punish them somehow if they don't obey their Human overlords.

All advice I can give those Humans: Use genetic manipulation, eugenics, biotechnology, cybernetics, spirituality and transhumanism to better yourself - that's the only way.

Now, this is the most brutal species in Star Wars, the Humans in Star Wars. Now don't ask me about the Humans in Warhammer 40000, like the Star Wars Humans only a thousand times more worse (at least, somehow united), Battletech (slaughter each other which giant war robots just because they belong to other interstellar abstractions of planets which change their so-called "interstellar faction" all the time, so why kill all others for that? NONSENSE!!!) or the Honorverse (same as Battletech, with starships instead of war robots) for example. If you have anymore questians, we can talk about the Kobol Humans in Battlestar Galactica, were I can sympathisize with them - may it be only due to lack of alternatives.

    Final list:
    1. Yuuzhan Vong
Worthless trash which don't deserve to exist, dammed to insane torture and infinite suffering in another dimension. Their pure existence = offense against the universe, insulting the creators. Only good they have done was to better the Humans, at least a little tiny bit.
    2. HUMANS
Kill, slaughter, murder, harm, torture, insult, molest each others without good reasons, didn't use their chances to stop it. Also spared the above mentioned species more worse. They should have stayed united after the YV war to commit a giant genocide against the Yuuzhan Yong, say enslave them, manipulate their minds so they will absolutely HATE AND DESPITE all kinds of PAIN, then enslave, torture and slaughter them, but no, better break apart again and continue killing themselves.
    3. Sith
Evil, corrupted, Dark Side obsessed beings, enslaved by fallen Force users, what else shall I say? Conquer, destroy, enslave, suppress just because it is in their nature.
    4. Ssi-Ruuk
Ugly abnominations of the universe, brutal, conquering, causing unbelievable horror and suffering. Lost their right to live, too. Attack for lust of power, molest the galaxy. Don't deserve to exist.
    5. Mandolorians
    NO DISCUSSION.
    6. RAKATA
Conquered, enslaved, tortured, killed and ate a lot of species and individuals just for the sake of having power, also used the Dark Side of the Force. Their society is based on such skills like brutal strength and killing. But, a few of them managed to redeem themselves, also somehow I like their style.^^

I'll go with the Yuuzahn Vong. Followed by the Rakatan, then the Ssi-ruuk. I'm not saying they're my favorite, I just think they fit the description best. The Mandalorians are quite militaristic, but they don't normally show as much barbarity or brutality as some of the others listed.

Gamorreans are really not my favourites at all. They are very ineffective fighters with barely any brain or strategy.
