What's a Star War without some weird little guys? Give it up for the new instant classic species.

Love them. Not actually from the SW galaxy, which somehow makes them even more alien.

 

When the very first one was revealed, I thought for a split second these were the folk of Meebur Gascon.

The crazy old hermit...crabs.

 

I like less than half of them less than half as well as they deserve.

 

They rock...people!

 

Fun Fact! They're Noti...by nature!

 

If anything bad happens to the Noti, I'm throwing hands!
I'm not sure what I'll be throwing hands at (likely the air) but I'll be throwing them.

 

Why do I adore the Noti, but can't abide the Ewoks? I'm sure it says something meaningful to someone.

 

The Noti would taste great with butter. No wonder Thrawn is obese!

Kind of disappointed in the Noti. I get they are supposed to be this smaller, peaceful species...but I would think that considering what we know about Peridea they would have some means of defense. Not saying I want to see Noti Special Forces but at least mount some blasters on their home/vehicles. so when they are being chased they can effectively fight back.

 

The one that tossed the rock was a very naughty noti.

Seeing the presence of Thrawn in the show, it makes me wonder if the Noti were supposed to be a bit of a nod to The Last Command. While the looks given to them later on differed, Psadan's were described as smallish walking rocks in the book.
