'The Padawan Pack'

Hi everyone, i am sure you are all following the events of the Clone Wars in all the comics, and I thought that we have been accounting for the casualties of the Battle of Geonosis, so what about the famous Padawan Pack, a group of Padawan's who's masters are victims of the Wars.

I have a question, how is Anakin's master a victim of the wars? Last time I checked Obi Wan did not die during the Clone Wars.

 

No, he did not, but for a time he was presumed dead.

 

Yes, Obi-Wan was presumed dead for a while, and this is Why Anakin joins the Padawan Pack,..... has anyone seen the front cover for the new clone wars comic, (not sure what number) but it features the Padawan Pack on it, with Roth Del Masona in the centre and the Jedi who's arm was cut off by Assaj Ventress ????

is that Jeisel on there, protecting the Jedi lying on the floor ????

Dama Montalvo, the Padawan who's Master's funeral featured in JEDI:MACE WINDU, could he be a possible recruit ????

 

It's more likely to be Zule since her Master was killed by Asajj Ventress in Republic #51.

 

So far we've named:


Anakin(while Obi-Wan was presumed dead)

Zule(after her master was killed on Ohma D'un)

Dama Montalvo?(after his master died on Lianna)

Roth Del Mosana?(who is she? I don't remember)

Jeisel?(no that's not her protecting that guy, why would she be in the pack anyway?)

 

I assume Naat Reath would join the Padawan Pack, after the "loss" of General Shen-Jon at Krant.

 

Except that the the writer of the Republic comics might not even not about Naat Reath.

 

Roth Del Mosana is the black, gray-haired Jedi seen in the ring of surviving Jedi on Geonosis. I find it somewhat strange for him to be a Padawan. Isn't he a few years too old for that?

Which Republic issue is it where the padawans pressume there masters are dead? Can anyone give me a cover pic?

Umm, it hasn't really happened in a single issue. The fact of there being padwwans without masters due to the war has been a recurring theme in the comics since 49.

The Battle of Jabiim simply takes this development to the next logical step, that in the face of mounting Jedi losses the padawans know they are not going to acquire new masters and so start looking out for each other.

It may well be in the first part of the story, the TBR 55, we see some padwans with mastrs, who are subsequently killed and the masterless padwans are approached by the PP who are on Jabiim. It may well be Jabiim where the PP originates due to it being a major flashpoint.

okay everyone, i have read your posts above and i will try to explain myself.

I do not know who is in the PP. I just wanted to know if any of you had any who the Padawans on the front cover are, so,i think that they are:

A Iridonian Zabrak Female ~ Centre of cover, defending the fallen Padawan.

Roth Del Masona ~ Yes he was at Geonosis, and he is a Jedi Knight, but i speculate that the Council send the PP either a Knight to supervise them, or Roth just happens to be fighting on Jabiim, it is'nt a leap of logic, since the orphaned Padawans, especially Anakin, SOME had their masters die on Jabiim, as in the case of Obi-Wan.

Also we know that there are Jedi on Jabiim on different missions, so it is not unlikely that Roth is there to help or supervise.

Zule~ is definately here since, it is so blatantly her, red skin, jewellery, metal prosthetic arm replacement, green lightsaber, black hair, black gloves, its definately her.

no idea who the Aqualish Jedi is, any ideas ??? have we seen him yet ???
