The Phantom Menace PC Game

I have been considering buying the Phantom Menace PC game that was released about 3 years ago by Gorilla Software. The game looked somewhat good back when it was released, and the low price makes it even more tempting to buy. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's worth the money.

I loved it! A lot of fun!

No where as *good* a game as Jedi Knight or Jedi Outcast, but it's a LOT of fun! I've played it many times through!

If its priced below 10 dollar, you could buy it, but you might want to borrow from someone who has the game and play the game for a few days. For a game that cost 10 dollars or less it is ok, but I payed 45 dollars when the game came out and I was really disappointed (below average graphics, lousy AI, and you can't do that much in the game except swing your sabre and kill battledroids)

 

I thought it was cool back then. I was like ten or something though.

 

Cool? I dunno.

Fun? Definitely.

It was an good enjoyable game. It is fairly easy, but Theed and Mos Espa can get frustrating at times. Don't worry they are easy too, and I have mastered the game, so feel free to ask any questions.

 

How's the duel with Darth Maul?

 

I just defeated him with my Rocket Launcher or whatever its called. I dueled him and defeated him too, but it takes longer and Maul uses his lightning, which makes it harder. lol I once force pushed Maul off the ledge. Didn't even break a sweat.

 

It's Jabbas pit boss you wanna be worried about.

 

Well, the game is worth getting if simply for Mat Rags, the Greatest Bounty Hunter the Galaxy has ever known.

Nah, the funniest thing in the game is "stop pushee me!"

 

I enjoyed it (i have it for PSX) and the demo has pretty good graphics, comparitively.

Mos Espa is my favorite level in the game because of all the phrases you pick up. I STILL say (in fact I said it today) "We have reached an agreement here" in that lame Qui-Gon voice.

Yeah, Mos Espa is by far the best level; only because of the stupid things people say and the fact that you can chop them up if they do so.

 

So say if you encounter Jira in the streets of Mos Espa, and she happens to insult you, Qui-Gon can just whip out his lightsaber and go to work?

Try this... save ur game once you reach Mos Espa and re-enter it and slay everyone you see. Its so fun, people chasing you and shooting you with blasters, but it gets boring once you have slayn' the whole town and if Anakin calls you something like "Killer" "Monster" Slay him too. Also, quit without saving at this point.

The first level is a breeze.

 

I love it when you start slaughtering the locals in Mos Espa, and then later when you meet up with Padme again she's "Let's get out of here, there's a viscious murderer on the loose" (or words to that effect).

 

That's it, I am going out to find this game tonight at one of my local stores.

 

I played the demo like mad in '00 and '01, borrowed the game from my friend across the street, and then I finally got the real game for a Christmas present last year. Haven't played it in a few months, though
