Discuss the famous and unforgettable comedy classics, by Blake Edwards, with Peter Sellers as
Inspector Clouseau. Your fav film of the series, fav line of dialogue etc.

    "Did someone order a BAM?...."

Peter Sellers was a comic genius...sadly he is still missed.

I love these films, they still make me laugh, if you have not watched them rent them.

Kato is cool, and I like the insane boss.

It was great seeing Blake Edwards get the lifetime achievement award on the Oscars last night. That gag he did with Jim Carrey where his motorized wheelchair sped out of control and crashed into the set was awesome. "Don't touch my Oscar!"

I love the Pink Panther films although I haven't seen all of them and it's been a long time since I've seen one.

What do you guys think of the upcoming Pink Panther film "The Mask of the Pink Panther" starring Steve Martin.

I think it could be very good.

Isn't there going to be a new movie? With Steve Martin?

I just don't get these movies.

But I haven't watched any of them since I was like 10 years old or less, so that might be why...

Watch either A Shot In The Dark or Revenge Of The Pink Panther. They'll kill ya. Box set coming out later this year too. Can't wait!!

I hope the new version works out well, but they've been trying to recapture the magic they had with Peter Sellers and haven't succeeded yet. But it is possible, and Steve Martin is certainly capable. Hope they cast some one funny as Herbert Lom's character, Chief Inspector Dreyfuss.

Did anyone see Blake Edwards at the Oscars last night? Him blowing up was the highlight of the show for me!! [face_laugh]

Trying to follow Peter Sellers is hopeless. Anybody remember the immortal Ted Wass? I didn't think so. :p

The Pink Panther films have some of the funniest moments ever committed to film. I don't think ican single out any favourite moments but if you haven't seen any you should. The series does decline somewhat in quality with the last movies but they still have their moments.

Can anyone tell me which film this line was in? "Madame you will never see these pajamas again."

I think it was the Pink Panther Strikes Again but I'm not sure.

Cool. That's a pretty good price for a DVD, even if it doesn't have any extras. There's no one that can follow Peter Sellers. Edwards tried twice, the last time with Roberto Begnini and it pretty much killed the franchise.
