Skeleton Crew The Pirates

I have a feeling a bunch of the pirate characters will be recurring but in small enough roles they won’t deserve their own threads. So here is a general one to talk about them

 

We had a little info in that these pirates would appear and make this a pirate treasure series. This gave us plenty of ideas on what may happen. And what a start to the series with them taking over the ship! Great designs and mostly all costumes with some cgi. The animatronics in this show is top notch.
Brutus is the one I found to be my favorite right from the start (Here's looking at you Lak Sivrak).
Vane was rumored to show up and indeed he provided his Menace early on. There might not be enough time to develop many more pirates, but keep your eyes peeled, yo ho.

And when Brutus arrives on At Attin, Wim's father challenges him to a duel and then busts into this song:

It'll be kinda like Ronan the Accuser watching Starlord sing and dance.

 

I was hoping we get some pirates with boots on the ground fighting the towns folk, but I realize time restraints limited what action we got with the speeder chase and the Fern/Wim confrontation with their parents vs Jod.

Brutus will go down as the best one in my opinion (they actually brought back Lak Sivraks species!) but I was overall impressed with the costumes/animatronics/cgi for these scoundrels. Vane took control in the final episode and led a speeder recon mission only to lose the kids and Wim's dad.
How about Gunter? He didn't say "did I do that".
Also rate Kona (the Gran), Pax (human guy) and how about that old lady with the pig tail. She had a thing for Jod. And then there's the tough lady wearing the armor.

 

Kona was the tough lady wearing the (clone/storm trooper) armor. Chaelt was the old lady who had a soft spot for Jod (I dont remember a pig tail - and I didn't see her in the finale) Pax was the Gran with an eye patch (pretty sure his name is a pun: Pax = Patch) I spotted him once during the At Attin raid.

I loved the pirates. They got a raw deal in the end. But, they brought it on themselves by not behaving themselves when they arrived at At Attin. What are you going to do? Pirates gonna plunder. That's why they can't have nice things.
