Why episode III?

 

I think we should have just a general star wars 3D model thread for all the six films

 

Or how about we just close this thread and leave it to making a topic for a particular project? It's doubtfull that there would be enough people making models from Episode III and putting them in one single thread just because they are bored--it would take more dedication than that.

 

We have to keep this place clean too guys.

I noticed some... unusual and unprecedented thread topics starting up. I personally don't understand the reason for these. For somebody like Robbi who wants a personal thread I guess that's ok b/c he does a lot of stuff, updated often, and could actually make it cleaner by consolidating his threads into one. But I have to watch these threads as they come up and frankly I'm skeptical of them and don't take it personal if I lock or remove them. Unfortunately, and I've said this many times, we don't have better forums where we can have a WIP section, a 2D section, Animations, General, etc. And with new contests coming up soon too it's gonna get crowded. Also remember if you look under "options" you can choose to display up to 50 threads at once.

Aren't all threads personal? They reflect the person who posted the question/work/proposition.

What's wrong with putting up multiple thread topics on Ep3 WIPs? It will definetly help the forums out.Plus get alot of people invovled.

This is not gonna work. And I really am not interested in debating everything all the time. It's tiring. The definition of an acceptable thread is not... if it's personal, and aren't all threads personal, so all are acceptable. This is exactly the type of debating I'm not gonna do. Maybe you like to debate all the time? I don't.

There's not gonna be EP3 threads, EP2, EP4 character theads, etc. Just go about business as usual and forget this. Dr.Jones use to have a single thread but he would post a lot of stuff in there over a period of time. IF there's a dozen EP3 models that pop up all of a sudden then maybe we can move it all to one thread. But I think that's silly too. SO.. lets move on. We're stuck with a really small forum.. please help keep it clean.
