Ok, we already have a thread listing Jedi/Sith/Dark Jedi, what about a more comprehensive thread listing survivors from any force faction. We know the empire hunted down not just the jedi but force users from all kinds of factions, this thread is to list everyone ever mentioned as surviving past the Purge. The Empire was known to hunt down many force sensitive from all over the galaxy no matter what there affiliation, as well as adding force users to his ranks, this thread can list any and all that is know about.

It can include any survivors, be it from Jedi, Dark Jedi, Sith, Sith cults, jenisaari, killian Rangers, unalligned force sensitives, etc etc. The characters of course have to have lived during the purge to survive it, or at least born while the empire was at the height of its power. Anyone born after ROTJ can be left off the list.

    "Beldorion the Hutt"

The exact name would be Beldorian the Splendid, IIRC.

Isn't this a tad redundant? We could create an addendum to the existing thread's list with non-Jedi/Dark Jedi/Sith listed

Also, maybe the how they survived would be good.

Hey, I suggested an addendum to your thread before, but Talon Card, and others knocked down my idea, and you didn't give out an opinion to it at all, so I thought this was the next best thing. Since it seemed that no one wanted an addendum to your thread, or spoke up that they wanted one, this thread isn't redundant at all.

"Also, maybe the how they survived would be good."

Ya, good idea, Gandolf. Perhaps, short summaries of each of their histories might be helpful as well.

Read somewhere about several "Freedom's Sons" survivors who hid out during the Galactic Civil War, but damned if I can remember where...

Are Freedom Son's force sensitive, or just a group of non-force users allied with the jedi?

If it's the latter, and unless they were specifically said to be targeted by the purge, we can leave them off the list I think.

Though if they were non-force sensitives, but some source says they were targeted by the purge, and some survived, they would be fair game in a comprehensive list.

Quinlain Vos hung on long enough to meet a young Han Solo.

Please note your sources, just like in the other thread, especially if it comes from infinities, though we know the dark women story is confirmed in a non-infinities source now(NEGTC).

From what I recall, the members of Freedom's Sons were largely non Force-sensitive, assisting the Jedi in a covert capacity, although there might have been Force-users amongst them. (Rather sort of like the "scout" class described in the Tales of the Jedi Companion.)

Fair enough- I didn't recall your suggestion when I posted. Since TC is more or less running that thread, I'll stand by his call, and so, I dub thee not redundant [face_batting]

Last time I saw such a thread, we ended up getting folks who would qualify as Purge survivors on it. Folks born after the Purge should not be listed.

When did it say Quinlan Vos met a young Han Solo, that is interesting, where did it get mentioned?

Tales, an infinities source. There is no confirmation of it occuring in an non-infinities source yet, as far as I know. Though for completeness, it can be listed in this thread, but we must be clear that it is infinities only at the moment.

Vialco: A Dark Jedi that fought Fable Asten on a mission and did not kill her. In a attempt to finish her off he follows her and manages to fight a now trained Fable and loses the battle. Lord Alderic Brandl conjured a image into Fable's mind of a rearmed Vialco attack, and she decapitated the Dark Jedi.

When did the Purge stop though? I've always been under the impression that it ended with the death of the Emperor and Vader.

The period known as the Purge ended just before ANH, according to several sources, including gamer #5, in Arden Lyn's section, but they didn't just stop purging after the purge ended, IIRC, the inquisitors still continued to purge new sources of force users if they found them, if they didn't want to recruit them.

Which is why I'm allowing characters born up to ROTJ. But we can have a split in the list marking those that born before/during the purge proper but surviving it, and those that survived the lesser purging that continued up to ROTJ.

Actually, who were the jedi out of Gorc, Pic, Boc, Sariss, and Maw(assuming that Yun was born after the Jedi Order was wiped out, and/or he was never a padawan to any surviving jedi) We know that 3 of them were jedi, but which 3?

We know that Gorc and Pic were the "Brothers of the Sith", but we have no information on the particulars of that. Were they called that before, during, or after Jerec found them. They could have been Jedi as much as anyone before they became "Brothers of the Sith".

So its these matters that makes it really hard to use process of elimination to find out who was who, and no source has given any clear information on the matter, as far as I know.

I have never seen any material detailing or confirming that Corwin Shelvay was killed by anyone.
