I gotta give props to the actors who played the Rebels in Vader's hallway scene at the end. I'm sure we'll get character names soon, and the actor names are probably already out there. But THEY are who made that scene. Vader was amazing of course. And the score from Michael Giacchino was brilliant during that scene. But what made it special was the pure terror from those Rebel soldiers. The anticipation when the hallway was dark. The way every line was screamed with horror... "Open Fire!" "HELP us!!!" "Here - Take it! Take it!!!" "LAUNCH!!!!" I get chills just thinking about it. The look in their eyes. It just gives a completely different context to what must be going through their heads during this scene in ANH:
Reminded me of the inevitable scene in a lot of war movies where men are stuck in a crashing/sinking vehicle and drown or burn to death as they're reaching through the gap or whatever. Very chilling.
