Full Series The Senate

With Bad Batch season 2 being the return to Corucant and political senate. I wanted to Make a thread for the Bad Batch about the Senate and its members. Rivalry between Sheev Palpatine and mostly Bail Organa. Mon Mothma probably a silent helper in this early era of the empire.

We all know who the tittle refers to.

 

I wonder if we'll end up getting Luthen Rael, Vel, Cinta, Davo Sculdun etc. Showing up in animation.

 

Of the characters in Andor i could only see Luthen. Since he has been in with the early Rebellion since the beginning with Bail Organa, Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera. I suspect most of the Rebellion arc will be with Bail and Saw in this show. Lets see early conflicts with Bail and Saw. We know they had meetings together up until when both Jyn and Leia were 10. Mon Mothma according to all canon in the early stages before Andor, was a minor player and Bail was the leader of the Rebellion. I suspect Luthen got in contact with Mon trough Bail Organa.

 

There is no Rebellion in the early stages, until Mon Mothma builds it in Andor Season 2. There is only rebellion. Bail Organa is the leader of a rebellion, Mon Mothma becomes the leader of the Rebellion.

 

Yes but as we see in all canon material Bail Organa is the main leader of a Rebellion we Follow. Mon Mothma dosent become a leader until Andor season 2, closer to ANH.

 

It’s even funnier that you open the thread, and it’s actually a serious topical prompt for discussing the Imperial Senate as it exists in Bad Batch.

Andor did leave a lot “gray area” regarding Mon Mothma’s development. We don’t know what she was doing in that period after ROTS but it was apparently not with organized rebels. She seems to have been less active than Bail, so I’d be interested to see their interactions. I also still want to see Palpatine in his “alter ego” role, the face he presents to the public.

It is sounding like The Senste chambers and pods will be in between PT versions and Andor. Maybe we see them branding the Imperial logo. And we will see The change in the Republic-Empire goverment.

I am excited to see the Return of Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, Mas Amedda and Emperor Sheev Palpatine in animation. The early political fight between Bail and Palpatine, with Mon Mothma slowly becoming a part of Bail's faction. They can only trust each other and no one else.

 

Spoiler

The last Bad Batch episode showed two clones troopers discussing the Defense Recruitment Bill which is probably the law that will legally remove the clones from service and have them replaced by conscripts. With the Senate showing up, that law could be the center of the Coruscant episodes.

 

I think we will see the senate soon in few episodes with Sheev Palpatine and Bail Organa. Bring up the Defense Recruitement Bill, and the dangers of Sepratist enemies.

 

Palpatine's real name isn't even "Sheev" or "Palpatine."

It's "Senate."

The Sith named him "The Senate" right when he was borne.
