Anybody else watching The Shadow Line? It's shaping up pretty well, imo. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Christopher Eccleston are both excellent in their respective roles, while Rafe Spall is suitably disturbing as the psychotic Jay Wratten. With five more episodes to go, I hope it can keep up its pace.

Not seen it, but I know that Everton is suitably impressed, and from experience that will be an excellent reflection on the quality of the show

Yes. I worked through Thursday's viewing so I will be watching episode 2 on iPlayer once I've finished watching footy highlights.

Just caught up. Great episode, and brilliant stuff from Rafe Spall. He's come a long way from Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Yeah this is a really good show. Or at least, it is at the moment - whilst the mystery lingers. Whether it goes down as a great show depends upon whether or not they have a climax and resolution to match the meticulous setup.

Only one episode to go now, and this show is pretty damn brilliant.

Last night's episode way gripping. I'm thinking Gatehouse and Jay Wratten are going to have to meet face to face next episode - I'm expecting a bloodbath.

Caught up on iPlayer last night.

Epic stuff. Gatehouse is what would've been if Jack Bauer had retired and decided to go in the drugs trade as a hobby.

**** me. What a series. That episode demands a re-watch.

As Gatehouse, Stephen Rea has given the best performance on British television since Philip Glenister said he was 'avin 'oops.

I thought the performances were excellent all round. It's nice to see British tv can still be quality stuff.

Don't think it did too well in the ratings, though. Which I suppose might be a good thing as it means the BBC won't try to wheel it out for a second series. The story is told.

    Gatehouse really ****ing scared me.
