This RPG is about a group of 4 commandos of the New Republic's Special Forces. The forum will be EU, starting just after Destiny's Way. The ranks will be Commander(Me), Captain(2nd person to sign up), Lieutenant(3rd person to sign up), and Private(4th person t sign up). Also, The orde in which you sign up is your call sign. I am Shadow 1. You may also choose one or two of these roles in the team: demolitions, medic, heavy weapons, vehicles, computers, light weapons, communicaions, or scout. Once a role is taken, it can not be used by another person. Everyone also is at an elite level in the fiels of normal weapons.

This is a great concept RPG. In fact, it is quite detailed about how things are to be run. I like that. My RPG had a similar way of running things. Where you had to be invited to join. Now, many may see that as rude, but it helped to cause our story to move without any real big problems. Anyway, I am getting off my main idea of posting, if you need any help or want me to look over anything please feel free to PM me at anytime and I?ll be sure to get right back to you as soon as I can. Now on the other hand if the problem appears to need immediate over look then I merely suggest that you contact Protégé-Of-Thrawn immediately via PM Private Message and explain yourself clearly so that he may take care of the problem. Private? Seems like a sudden jump down the rank ladder. I think it would make more sense for it to be one officer(maybe a Captain) and three non-coms, or two non-coms and a Specialist(a spinoff of PFC, I believe).

Sure you have The_Dark_Overlord if you have ever traveled into the Welcome New Users Forum you would've met up with MASTER_OBI-DAN and trust me he codes way more then I do. Actually he showed me how to do all this, so all the credit goes to him.

 

Sure Knight. I totally forgot sbout the sniper role. Stupid me.. But yeah, thats good. And Coota, I don't know the military that well, so that's the way my officer system is going to stay.

All right, we have filled the roster. The game is going to start in a briefing room. Oh, and forget the rank listing. It will just get too confusing.

Bail looked over his very short list that contained the profiles of his new, elite team. Looking over the top of his datapad, he saw Maija, Hal, and Ruuk sitting in the amphitheater portion of the room, talking amongst themselves...

Maija sat in the small room, looking at the three men. Once again... She sighed. She had graduated from the academy a few years ago and had never worked with any other girls.

She sat quietly, not social enough to instigate conversation.

Ruuk looked around the briefing room.he decided to start some conversation with his new fellow team mates.Looking at the one who said his name was Hal he said "So,uh, where do you come from?"

 

((Alright, but I'm just trying to tell you that the military doesn't send out a team full of officers. Officers are a resource; there aren't that many of them, and they cost lots of money to train, while enlisted and non-coms don't cost nearly as much to train, which is why they usually make up the bulk of a specforce team. Not to mention that too much rank weighs down a tactical force; you need people who are used to giving orders and people who are used to following orders. Having too many people used to command screws up the flow of the team. That's why a small SpecOps team in reality is usually commanded by one experienced officer(possibly a former non-com), and several non-coms(staff sergeants, sergeants), Corporals and specialists. You wouldn't toss a high ranking officer, a Captain and a Lieutenant in with a wet behind the ears Private whose barely seen any combat time, unless there's some kind of crazy extenuating circumstances. Well, sorry for bothering you. That's my military lecture for the week))

Hal turned to Ruuk, a strange look of friendship on his face. "I'm from Corellia. And you, my friend?"

"I was born on Nar Shadda," Ruuk replied to Hal."What made you want to fight the Empire?"Ruuk asked.

 

IC:

"They killed the one I love. And what is your reason?"

 

With a faraway look in his eyes, Ruuk said "My father couldn't pay off a debt he oweded to the Empire.They killed my parents and I was sold into slavery.Luckily, I took a few of them with me when I escaped,"Ruuk finished off as he smiled.

 

IC:

Hal patted the Disruptor Rifle that was hanging from his right shoulder. "I think it's time we get some payback. Don't you, Ruuk?"

 

IC:

"All right everyone. You 4 have been chosen from many too be a part of the elite Shadow Team. We are so secret that the Galactic Alliance won't evn acknowlage our existance. There is no rank within the team, but I am in charge. My name is Bail Turandis, Shadow 1, and I specialize in demolitions and computers."

Points to Hal

"This is Hal Johnson. He is Shadow 2 and specializes in sniping."

Points to Ruuk.

"This is Ruuk. He is Shadow 3 and our pilot/mechanic."

Points to Maija.

"Last but not least, this charming young lady is Maija Setrin. She is Shadow 4 and specializes in communications and is also our medic. So when the rest of us get hurt, she gets to patch us back up again. Now that introductions have been made, I want to get down to business. But before I do, any questions?"

Maija looked at the other two as they were introduced.

"No, sir," she said, ready to get to business.

OOC: well, his mom blocked the boards cuz he stayed up too late talking to me... so it's kinda my fault.

 

After hearing the Team leader speak, Ruuk thought of what Hal had just said.
"I think it's time we get some payback. Don't you, Ruuk?" A big smile spread slowly across his face as Ruuk replied "Oh yeah."
