The Simpsons and Star Wars????

In the Simpsons episode where Marge writes a novel, we take a peek into the common housewife's mind. In the novel, she bases her characters on herself (Temperance Barrows) Homer (her horrible husband) and Flanders (the sensitive "hunk next door"). When Temperance and Flanders's characters are meeting on a beach, Temperance says that his body has known the cleansing touch of soap, etc. etc. But, she says, "Pray thou art not a Sodomite" and Flanders's character replies, "Nope, not even a Gammorean." Aha! While he could have said "not even a Gammoran" the actual term for a native of Gammorah, he said instead "Gammorean" which is a pig like alien from Star Wars, which proves, that Flanders is, in fact, obsessed with Star Wars.

 

okay... but what's your point? i doubt he actually said "gammorean".

 

Eh, Flanders kind of reminds me of a Gammorean anyway. A deeply religious, mustachioed Gammorean.
