Hello. This is the Sleepy Hollow thread where we make a discussion of the film sleepy hollow. Hoot hoot.

    [image=http://www.movies4u.bravepages.com/images/sleepy.jpg]

It's a freakin' cool movie. Johnny Depp's in it. IMO better performance than in Pirates Of The Caribbean. Many will disagree with me about that one, I must admit, I like sleepy hollow better. Not just for Johnny Depp but it has a great storyline with a great director, tim burton. His best film, yet again, IMO. The style is very unique and the cinematography alone is amazing, and with a somewhat gothic sense. Christopher Lee has a small part in the beginning, I'd have liked it better if it was a larger role he's such a great actor. Anyway, if you haven't seen the film rent it out, if you have and you liked it, BUY IT! Let's get up a good conversation and yay for sleepy hollow. :)

This is a really cool film, and ricci is so much hotter as a blonde. Definetly my favorite horror film.

I really loved this movie when it came out and I still do.

Interesting note: it actually has all three PT Sith lords in the cast. Christopher Lee, Ian McDiarmid, and Ray Park are all present.

Four years late and in the wrong place, huh?

    Heh, oh well!

Awesome movie, good graphics, a lotta gore [face_devil] and one wicked Hessian. Oh, and good JD performance, but he was better in POTC. ;)

I thought the movie was ok. While Depp's performance was good, his character was a bit too silly. I just wish that the story had been handled more seriously.

I did like how they showed everything. They didn't cut away once when someone lost their head.

Yeah, they worked hard on that head-chopping effect. I remember that they made some impressive replicas of the actors' heads.

Yep, all 3 PT siths are in Sleepy Hollow.

They credit Walken as Headless, but he only once wore the Headless costume...during the transformation back to the Hessian. (You can even tell when that happens...the costume Walken wore didn't look as good...or filled out...as Ray's) Ray Park and the stuntman who could ride and fight on the horse (forgot his name) were Headless.

CuppaJoe, don't let them get you down, they're just being...well...them. Yes, there are lots of movie threads here, and I'm nt even gonna comment on how the Amphitheater has *cough*no use*cough* because my friend mods it. Good thing he doesn't mod this forum, either...hehe...

And as for being four years late, it's never too late to discuss a movie! :-D

I just rewatched this movie ironically, and I dunno...I didn't like it much this past time I saw it. It was too comic. And yet not a comedy. Blah.

And all the stuff about good witches and bad witches...well anyway, the good witches acted really sappy and pathetic, and like the whole movie was a "feel bad for the good witches killed in Puritanical New England" diatribe.

However, Depp was hot in the movie, so it wasn't all bad. ;)

If this thread is four years too late, then someone better shut down that damn Classic Trilogy forum.

Cuppa, do you think you could haul your butt over to my The Johnny Depp Fan Club of the JCC? :D I mean, I was going to restart the Edward Scissorhands Appreciation Thread but I decided not to since these kinds of things could easily be discussed in my thread.

I got the McFarlane figure, heads and all. Good for me.

When the horny old coot got swallowed up by the tree at the end, I was sure she was gonna give 'em the finger.

Well...there's nthign wrong with discussing a movie. I don't think the discussion of a movie that happens to have Johnny Depp in it has to be reserved for the Johnny Depp fan club. This isn't redundant, there is no other Sleepy Hollow fan club thread.

    Drama drama drama

Anyway, I didn't know Ray Park was in SH! Who was he!?

Sleepy Hollow=First R movie, and the best one I have ever seen. Though, the movie should have been PG-13. I mean, come on, heads getting choped off, decapitation. Really, it didn't look that gross to me. And I was only Eleven when I saw it!

Though, I love the part with Christina Ricci where he is showing her the bird in the cage and how it's an optical illusion. It's so pretty..... [face_love]

Batman, Batman Returns, and best of all Sleepy Hollow are the only Tim Burton films I like. Mars Attacks and Planet of the Apes has potenial, but just were flat and lifeless.
