I was watching Attack Of The Clones earlier and I noticed something when they show the outland club when Zam run in it they show the Aurubesh letters above the door look close enough and one of the symbols is a triforce from legend of zelda I've noticed it in other star wars movies do you think it has a meaning like 1138 does?

    SPOILER

In Episode III, Anakin will have to run around through eight dungeons to collect pieces of the Triforce. The sixth one will be frickin' impossible.

Obi-Wan will tell him, "Dodongo hates smoke", and Yoda will chip in with such timeless wisdom as "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this."

    [face_laugh] That was funny

But why have the 6th dungeon impossible. Why not the 8th? ?[face_plain]

Not mokcing really just syaing somehing about Ep3 which won't really happen.

But as for the object I may have to look back at the movie again. But it may just be nothing then a triaglne and nothing more.

I doubt GL even know much about Zelda to even know what the Triforce is. But I will ask where is 1138 in AOTC? ?[face_plain]

Taken from a vault deep beneath Skywalker Ranch (or possibly made up just now):

INT. YODA'S MEDITATION CHAMBER -- NIGHT

OBI-WAN tiptoes in and approaches the meditating sage.

    OBI-WAN
Forgive the intrusion, Master; I still haven't found the seventh labyrinth. What was it you said about where fairies don't live?

After a deep breath, Yoda opens his eyes.

    YODA
    Let's play money making game.

THREE REPUBLIC CREDIT SYMBOLS appear floating in the air. As Obi looks around in confusion, and checks his empty pockets, a CLONETROOPER walks by.

    CLONETROOPER
It's a secret. Here, take this.

    He slips Obi twenty bucks.

    FADE OUT

EDIT: You heard it here first, folks; here's the opening crawl:

    STAR WARS
EPISODE III: THE LEGEND OF PADME

Many years ago Prince Darkness ?Sidious? stole one of the Triforce with power. Senator Padme had one of the Triforce with wisdom.

She divided it into ?8? units to hide it from ?Sidious? before she was captured.

Go find the ?8? units ?Anakin? to save her.

    :p

Ever played the original Legend of Zelda? The sixth dungeon was a freakin' bloodbath. Seven and eight were all right. Actually I seem to remember seven being really easy.

I got almost to the end in LoZ (the SNES version), and then gave up. It was a major pain in the ass trying NOT to fall off the freaking bridges.

Then I discovered Secret of Mana and Breath of Fire I and II and tossed LoZ to the curb.

Did anyone else watch the cartoon? "Well, excuse me, princess!"

    Anakin, "Well, excuse me, Padme!"

I stil have the episodes on tape. I'm ahuge Zelda fan, its the only games I play.

Adam and Geist, great posts by the way.

"Ever played the original Legend of Zelda? The sixth dungeon was a freakin' bloodbath. Seven and eight were all right. Actually I seem to remember seven being really easy."

I believe the water palace in Orcarina of time was also the sixth palace, and it was the hardest of that game. And I believe the ice palace was the 6th in Link to the Past, which was also the hardest. They seem to like to make the 6th palace the hardest ones.

As for GL liking Zelda, you never know, he has three kids and he loves fantasy. I remember I saw Sally Field on a talk show, and they asked her about Video games, and she said she was obsessed with all the LOZ games, and she said if anyone from Nintendo was watching that she wanted them to make more because she was adicted.

So if Sally Feild can be addicted to Zelda, maybe GL can to.

Actually, the ice palace in Link to the Past was the fifth.
Well screwing the game's idea, I went to Misery Mire first anyway! That red cane made that last little switch puzzle in the ice palace a peice of cake :D
The water palace in OOT... *cries*
    Why, George! Why!?
    Oops, force of habit :p
Although... the water palace and Kamino...
The desert palace in LttP and Tatooine...
    Death Mountain and Geonosis...
    Aghanim/Ganon and Sideous/Palpatine...

We're through the looking glass here, people.

Im a big Zelda fan myself... but Im pretty sure the triforce-look alike you saw is a coincidence.

Unless, of course, Anakin finds a magical ocarina in Episode III that allows him to manipulate time, and this faceplate General Grevious wears is actually the Mask of Majora. And who knows, maybe Kamino is actually the planet Hyrule was on before it got flooded in Wind Waker?

    I doubt it.

EPISODE IV: The Legend of Jedi
EPISODE V: The Adventure of Luke
    EPISODE VI: Luke's Awakening

Then it's been rumored that Lucas will go back and make a whole new prquel trilogy!

EPISODE I: Kloo Horn of Time
    Episode II: Mask of Ma-Vader-a
EPISODE III: A Luke to the Past

Between Episodes II and III, Lucas is planning on inserting a cartoon micro series to help tell the tale entitled:

Finallt a thread about the Legend of Zelda!! So, which one is the best? I can't decide on whether I like LttP or OoT the most...

Maybe I should post something that's actually on topic too: The triforce in Star Wars? No way, or maybe...

Actually, there's been plenty of Zelda threads in Your JC Community :p

On the flip side, do you think future Zelda games will feature the Triforces of: Fear, Anger, and Hate?

still think ocarina of time is the best. it took the zelda series to a new level, just the sheer size of the game still amazes me.

I love LttP because I''ve played it the most and I can beat it without dying. Its the only one where I know all the secrets and can get every little treasure and quarter hearts. (I even got the killer silver bee!)

However I agree that OoT brought the series to a whole new level, and was pretty stellar in all respects

Unlike many people I love Majoras mask, but the climax and resolution were stupid and dissappointing, but otherwise this one would be my favorite.

And actually I'm a big fan of windwaker, its pretty awesome and I love the graphics, I just don;t like the treasure hunt portion near the end, it slows everything down.

I don't like Adventures of Link though, I've never met anyone who could beat the final castle, I think nintendo screwed up and made it unbeatable.
