Since The Gummi Bears Vs. The Care Bears duel is over (Gummi Bears won 25 to 12) I decided to bring the next duel into the JCC.

I'll have to vote for Duck Tales.

 

Tale Spin. It had one kick-arse video game.

 

Oh, gosh, that's tough, but with an Indiana Jones-like movie and catchy theme song ("Duck Tales...OowooOoh!"), Duck Tales wins my vote.

 

What exactly are the characters in Tale Spin? I know the ones from Duck Tales were ducks... but I'm not sure about those Tale Spin peoples...

 

Okay. First off, I pick the Norwegian Dog thing.

The dog thing infects Baloo, and Huey,Louie, and dewey, in turn infecting all the other characters from both shows.

Macready shows up, BBQs everyone with his trusty flamethrower.

Game over. Macready wins.

 

That_Flashing~~The characters in TaleSpin were from the movie The Jungle Book, but they were...different...a lot different...

It had Baloo as like one of the main characters and he flew like his airplane...and stuff...and...

Wow this really is a tough choice. I used to watch both shows one after the other when I was little.

Hmmm.... I will have to think about it and get back to this thread.

 

Tale Spin kicked ass! I always wanted to sky surf like Kit did off the back of Baloo's plane. That was just awesome!

Tale Spin by far was the best.

 

Duck Tales - I used to watch it everyday before 4th grade. Anyone remember the two part episode with the golden goose? I still consider those two to be the most entertaining cartoon episodes that I have ever seen.

Oh my God! Tale Spin! I forgot about that! Kick ass! Hmm... hard decision. Meditate on this, I will. Both had extraordinary NES games. I'd say the Ducktales game was better though. As far as the cartoons... bah, give me a while.

 

This is a tough one. I used to watch Duck Tales when I was about 3 or 4, and then Tale Spin when I was about 4 or 6. I liked both of them, but I'm gonna have to vote for Duck Tales.

 

Blatherin blatherscythe, that's a tough question. On the one hand, Duck Tales was...well...Duck Tales. I have fond memories of one particular series of episodes which revolved around a lost city of gold...can't remember if that had anything to do with the golden goose, they all seemed to meld together after a while...

On the other hand, there's Tale Spin. I mean, come on, it's got planes and stuff! Tale Spin gets my vote, if only because it was part of the reason I love aircraft so much.

 

I really liked Tale Spin. Don Cornage. Sher Khan. Baloo. The kids, whatever their names were. Louie. They had some funny bits but they had too many boring episodes.

Duck Tales all the way with the number one dime!
