The Vega Brothers (A Film By Quentin Tarantino)

Quentin Tarantino will be making a new film, titled The Vega Brothers, that will serve as a prequel to both Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs.

The film will star John Travolta reprising his Pulp Fiction role of Vincent Vega and Michael Madsen reprising his Reservoir Dogs role of Vic Vega. The two characters are brothers. The film will be set in the 1980's and follow the two brothers exploits concerning a club they own.

Tarantino hopes to finish writing The Vega Brothers by early 2003 so he can start production in the '03 summer.

In an interesting side note, Madsen said in a recent radio interview that The Vega Brothers was originally supposed to be done a few years ago, but QT decided to film Kill Bill first. Either way Im sure they will both make very good films.

 

Yeah, I remember hearing about Vega Bros for a while now. That's what made me go rent RD, because I never even knew it was a Tarantino film.

 

Oh man. That movie is going to kick butt!

 

I'd heard of a new Tarantino flick coming soon. Is that definitely what it is?
I heard it was a film with Uma Thurman and Michael Madsen.

 

This should be cool. I'm going to need to see RD again first.
One day I hope he will show a sequal to Pulp Fiction where Sam Jackson 'walsk the Earth' like Cain in Kung Fu.

Fanboy Solo : Yes, Madsen and Uma Thurman are in a movie together - Kill Bill Looks like we'll be seeing alot of MM after all...

 

Wow. That movie should kick some serious ass. Vincent Vega and Vic Vega aka "Mr. Blonde" were my two favorite characters from both of those movies.


I was always wondering with the similar names whether or not they were brothers... It's cool to see that Tarantino confirmed it...
