    It seems that Elon Musk and DOGE are going back on curtailment to Social Security? We'll have to see.

    Anyway, with the attack on welfare systems across the world with the advent of austerity politics, consider talking about it all here.

    (Unless we have a similar thread to this, but this is meant to be more all-encompassing.)

    It does not surprise me that Trump and Musk would make noise about cutting social security due to ‘waste and fraud’ and then come back and claim they ‘saved’ it by ‘finding waste and fraud’, pretending that it is because of them that your checks will come the way they always have.
