You should be replaced with CorusCAN because your name is too negative right now.

But "glowed" is ugly, putrid, and offensive. It sounds terrible and it looks terrible. "Glew", while not terrible, is not beautiful, either. However, "glew" does the job without calling negative attention to itself.

Shhh, don't tell Terr that :p Because technically something spelled "glew" and "glue" should not be pronounced the same way ;)

Hmmm... I kind of see what you're saying. "The lights in the hallway glowed" ... "The lights in the hallway glew". Yeah, I kind of agree.

Just don't say "the lights in the hallway shinned" because then I'll be forced to ask snarkily, "shinned? shinned what, your shoes?"

Yeah, I don't think I'll be saying that. When I used to play soccer, I liked to shin people, though. :p

Why are "glew" and "glue" supposed to be pronounced differently?

So the past tense of "show" should be "shew?" And "flow" should be "flew?" And "mow" should be "mew?" o_O

    I don't think sew. :p

I am talking about "glow" past-tense only. [face_not_talking]

I know you're a teacher and everything, so I could probably boil an egg on your head right now, but I simply don't believe in sticking to tradition just because dem's da rules.

    So.... glew, I say!

    It should be glown.

    And shine should be showned.

I think "has glown" is the past perfect form of "glow" . . . "That strange alien artifact has glown on and off all night."

I think it's more common to say, "has been glowing," but I don't think "has glown" is wrong.

The Israelites followed Mooseses across the Red Sea.

The Mooseses kept the sacred fire in a bowl on their antlers.
