The writing of the PT

    Do we actually know how much GL had in mind when he decided to do the PT? I'm sure that he had a few scenes in mind, such as the podrace scene, and of course the duel between OB1 and Anakin, but not as much of the story as we may think. The idea of midichlorians and clones seem more like an addition to the original story.

    For some reason, I don't get the feeling that Anakin is as much a mythic character(yet) that Luke was(Luke rescues the princess and fights the monster in the pit[rancor]).


    Issues to be discussed:
    1)How much of the storyline did GL have in mind? Timeline?

    2) Did writing the stories separately, instead of a long, 6 hour movie, hurt the PT?

    3)What was GL's new ideas regarding the PT?
