Well, actually in my sister's breakfast cereal, but she opened our box of Honey Nut Bunches of Oat and saw dead husks and maggots riddled in the cereal! I'll never eat that brand again.

Also a shout-out as I've been on an extended break from the forums.

Look at it like this. It's just extra protein in the box.

actually I had the same experience with the same cereal. Basically its some sort of insect that gets in and survives the process.

just bring it back to the store and you get a free box of cereal.

It looks like that store took your cereal, turned around, and sold it to me. And my sis already threw it out. Damn, I like that cereal.

This reminds me of that Tiny Toons spoof of Lucky Charms commercials. I think it was called "Frosted Lucky Worms" and Plucky was dressed as Lucky the leprechaun.

"Frosted Lucky Worms, they're magically disgusting!"

Once I was cooking, and I put the beef down to turn on the wok and this blow fly had blown in, and I turned around, and I saw it squirting maggots out of it's butt onto the beef. They pop out live and wriggly. It was.. vomitasstic.

I once ate some crackers when on the fourth one, I realized that it was infested with maggots and ants and the like. Needless to say, I wasn't hungry for a very long time.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I was not hungry due to the disgusting sight, not because I ate the maggots. :p

    Here is a gross story!

Many years ago when i was in, oh, third or fourth grade, I decided to eat some grahm crackers! So I got one or two from the old box I found in some cabinet and I ate them while watching television. It was then that I decided I wanted another grahm cracker or two. Well when I got back and I took a look at these grahm crackers, I noticed small maggot like insects crawling about on it. I was like "What!" I did not know if they were on the ones I had eaten, but they might have been! So I was not very happy about that, in fact I was rather annoyed, so I just pretended that there was definetely not bugs on the crackers I ate.

On average, any given person eats about a pound of bugs every year while sleeping.

I'm reminded of a classic TV commercial...

"Hey! You got maggots in my breakfast cereal!"

This is why I do my best never to let a piece of raw meat within ten feet of me. :p

Don't tell KW, but I noticed he had a couple of old boxes of cereal around that seemed to have a few dead wormie things in them. Fortunately I don't care too much if they're already dead. It's only the killing of live animals for food that bothers me. ;)

We had a patient in here in ICU a few weeks ago, and an RN found maggots crawling in the guy's ear. He came in like that.

Not to mention they would have to be incredibly stupid bugs to walk right into a sleeping person's mouth. :p

I guess that's why we wake up so often with bad breath in the morning.
